Trapped In A Video Game Books Novels & Stories

However, as she opened her refrigerator, she became speechless. There was nothing but a few bottled water piled neatly inside the fridge. It was then that she recalled, she hadn't been home for a couple of days that's why the shelves were all empty. She resigned and thought that the bottle of water would do at least so she took one, twisted the cap, and gulped the entire content before she resumed resting in her bedroom. The next day, she was woken up by the constant vibrations of her mobile phone. Her eyes snapped wide open as she searched around for the gadget. The bag settled on the floor had caught her immediate attention. She reached out to grab it then she rummaged through it.

Hope welled up in my heart. Once I got out, I just needed to report my location, and all the young women in there would be saved. "Stop! You can't go in there!" the man shouted behind me. I didn't even turn to look at him. I ran toward the door. Just as I reached out to grab the handle, a loud buzzing filled my mind. My vision blurred. I blinked hard twice, but it didn't help. My legs gave out under me as I slumped onto the ground.

The sound of the gunshot echoed in my ears as Perry lunged forward, pulling me out of harm's way. I turned just in time to see York collapsing, a pool of blood spreading beneath him. I dragged my suitcase back to the apartment I once shared with Clint. The landlord didn't recognize me. He scrutinized me for a long while and only left after ensuring I wouldn't cause any trouble in his place. Once he left, the empty room felt like a cavern, echoing my solitude. I had been holding back my emotions after that entire farce. Now that I'm relatively safe, they decided to surge forth, flooding my senses.

He walked up to her and she shifted back, eyes wide open and mouth parted in a gasp. “who…who are you? What are…are you doing here?” she stuttered, lips quivering and eys sparkling with wonder. Her scent hit his face,a combination of the humid air and cheap soap swirling through the room and coming back to surround him. And at that instant?? He should have turned around. He was the "Vortex" , the guy who saw people as data points and security flaws. But looking at her, the code in his head glitched. He wasn't staring at some security breach. He was looking at a sin he hadn't prepared for,a temptation he couldn't have and was never going to.

Of course, I didn't say that! "Ok," he says as he moves closer to me. I move back until my back hits the bed, I inhale and exhale. I am trapped. He moves closer to me and smiles when he realizes I was trapped. He stares at me for a long time, and I couldn't help but feel lucky to have him. "What are you thinking about?" he whispers in my ears. I clear my throat when I realize I can't say anything. "Ahem...no..no... nothing," I stutter.

, he should have at least told her to corporate till when our contract was over, could he be a scoundrel? Well there are some people in life which one can't understand, you just have to adopt to their crazy and irresistible features. Meanwhile we have 90% of people who seem to suffer a lot , life seem to create them in a sour texture, the rest of the 10% are the people who life seem to. favor a lot, irrespective of their mode of hardwork, they just seem so lucky maybe, I seem to be part of the 90%. In summary I'll say no matter how millions of cars one has, he still has to walk to his room so, no one can tell tomorrow's fortune. Life seem to fickle. I laid on my bed, scrolling through my pho

It was a tracker. I dug deeper into the bag and found a children's storybook, ‘The Hunting Game.’ I skimmed through the pages, there no words on them only colored pictures but what I thought was a story for children was actually a morbid depiction of the game. I had to find the bird before the wolves do or they would eat its heart. There were other characters in the book like the doctor, the police, and the civilians. In total there were twenty-four of them excluding the bird, the same number we were. There were no rules written in the book only the vague riddle at the end. ‘He who has the bird has the power.’ And the warning from the voice, ‘don’t tell anyone about your role.’ My head ached

There was a small dish on the windowsill filled with small, fish-shaped biscuits and she grinned, really not picking Mason as a cat person. The room itself was all dark wood and leather, a typical male space. Bookshelves lined the wall on either side of an enormous flatscreen television, but they weren’t filled with books. Correction, they weren’t lined with just books. She walked over and curiously ran her finger along the spines of some of her favorite novels and got a little thrill when she saw that he had the complete series of A.A. Abernathy books. Below the books were pristine covers of various video games, all by the same company, Black Sheep Software and Games.

We all made our way downstairs, and when we got to the lounge room, I saw Liam, Doyle’s third in command, along with Daniel and James, Doyle’s pack Gammas, playing a military video game on the Xbox. “Boys, the girls and I would like to go for a run, could the three of you please accompany us?” I asked them, hoping I could tear them away from their video game for a little while. Liam, James, and Daniel all looked at each other before Liam’s eyes glazed over. I figured he was presumably mind linking Doyle and letting him know we wanted to go for a run. A moment later Liam was turning off the Xbox console and following the girls and me out the front door. Daniel and James were hot on his heels

I can’t feel anything, although my feet should be hurting right now, I don’t even notice. I don’t want to feel anything. It’s like I’m in the never-ending emptiness, and I can’t pull myself out. I’m stuck, and I’m not doing anything to get out either. I feel bad for Jasper’s efforts, but I don’t think this will help me. Maybe, I don’t want to be helped. Well, at least he’s enjoying himself. I think? “That didn’t make you have fun at all, didn’t it? It just made us hungry.” Jasper chuckled after he broke a sweat while beating the highest score in that zombie shooting game.
