The Rise Of The White Luna

The Rise Of The White Luna

I shouted into the glare, I had spotted up to five tiny ships coming towards us with immense speed. They all had black flags on them, designed with human skull as a warning. “Pirates, oh silly human pirates messing around.” “Oh how very great,” Tasha muttered to herself, she threw her orange peels into the water. “Just as I was about to get comfortable and have a good nap.”

Unholy Matrimony

Unholy Matrimony

"That’s hundreds of ships. Cargo, cruise liners, private yachts..." "Filter it," I snap. "Filter by arrival and departure. I want a ship that arrived just before we did and left the day after the photo was taken. And then," I lean in, placing my hands on the desk. "I want to know which of those ships is in New York right now." Wong’s fingers fly across the keyboard. The clatter of the keys is the only sound in the room. The list on the screen populates. It’s long. MSC Divina. Maersk Alabama. Cosco Shipping Pisces.

Curse of the Moon

Curse of the Moon

The wind whispered soothingly, and here I pray it takes my worries away with it. Soon enough, my eyes met with the familiar wooden platform and the long horizon of the sea. The moon gleams above it and is reflected in the waters, seemingly like the moon has gained its twin. Different kinds of ships were anchored. Some were fisherman's boats scattered on the harbor. Trading galleys, carracks and skiffs, great cogs, and longships: all lined up on the harbor made me realize what kind of busy street the pier must be in daylight. Some of the ships have crews aboard, probably doing their duty. Fishermen have returned back from the sea with their crates of fresh catch to be sold this morning.

Games of Invictus

Games of Invictus

Traveling to Port Maw took just under a week of traveling. Both ships kept traveling in Convoy for security reasons, but because they were now well within Imperium controlled space, it wasn't really necessary. Aside from a single skirmish with a possible lost red escort the journey itself wasn't very eventful. With three days to go, the little group met up with a couple of frigates. It seemed that the SkyWatcher had sent word of their arrival. This group was some kind of Honor guard or something like that. It didn't matter what it was called, the crew on board both ships were happy with two extra ships flying alongside them.

Alpha’s Mistake

Alpha’s Mistake

The ships are meant to travel to other packs, dropping off the female travelers before continuing to the human world to drop off male traders. Mr. Transporter had made arrangements for me on how I could get through then. Everything was perfect before the monster ruined it for me. I hate him. Focus. Not now. Yes, it isn't. I have to focus and find a way to get through the officers. Women who are cleared at the shore are in pairs with a man. A man is the only way through. I need to find a man whom I can use. I step aside, waiting for people to keep moving while I count and hope to see an unpaired male. The sun drops and I am still standing here.

The Pack's Hybrids

The Pack's Hybrids

“And it will be named anew.” In the morning, on the horizon they spotted another fleet of ships, the style of which were vastly different than any ship they had previously encountered, the arrangement of sails beautiful, elaborate, and multi-tiered. The ships did not heed them, continuing in the opposite direction, following the dark shadow of the land away.

Firefly
If you're looking for a story about an incel that gets their just desserts, this is the book for you! I haven't read a book in this series yet that doesn't deliver an emotional punch in the worst and best ways.
Dawn
That’s the end of the 4th book in the series. Can’t wait for the next book “the rebels”. This has been a fantastic series & though the book spends a lot of time going back & forth into the past & present it allows for those who have not read the whole series so far to keep up. Well done Everleigh xx

Dragon-kissed

Dragon-kissed

The fiber had an amazing tensile strength that could pull even a large ship. Speaking of which, theirs was a cargo vessel called a longship. It had one mast with a square sail, presently furled, and was mainly used for transporting seafood, whale oil and various contraptions to the south and bringing back rubber, rope, and luscious tropical fruits to the north. This time, Aki, Sasha and Temujin wouldn’t be bringing with them any products for trade, only provisions.

Feral on the Ice

Feral on the Ice

"We didn't land on a home. We landed on a Sleeper Ship." The Arrival of the "Others" The signal Julian had been pulsing from the stars wasn't a "Goodbye." It was a Warning. A fleet of silver, needle-thin ships dropped out of warp in the upper atmosphere. They didn't belong to the Architects. They were jagged, black, and surrounded by a shimmering field of Anti-Matter. "The Void-Eaters," Commander Vax whispered, her knuckles white as she gripped her slug-thrower. "The scavengers of the deep dark. They don't want the people, Elara. They want the Shell."

An Alpha Bound By The Moon

An Alpha Bound By The Moon

Jason opened his mouth to respond, but before he could speak, Mia’s voice cut through gently but firm. “There’s a ship,” she said, looking between the Elders and Jason. “Fourteen day cruise. It departs from Adelaide, loops through New Zealand, then the top of Australia, and ends in Bali before returning. You’d be off pack lands, out of reach of duty, and… maybe closer to fate.” Nathan crossed his arms, glancing at Jason. "Wouldn’t kill us to relax. Just once." Jason sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I’ll think about it.”
