Alpha's Breeder/ An Omega's Lament

Alpha's Breeder/ An Omega's Lament

I weaved through the crowd, ignoring the glares and insults thrown my way. "Move, weakling!" someone shouted. I ducked my head and kept moving. Frey growled in frustration, but I soothed her. I was used to this treatment. Finding a tall tree at the edge of the arena, I climbed up and settled on a high branch. It was the best seat in the house anyway. I pulled out a juicy peach I had snatched from the kitchen when Aunt Tia grounded me for breaking her China during breakfast. I hadn't eaten anything since lunch yesterday. Thus I nibbled on it eagerly, savoring the sweetness. My aunt barely fed me enough table scraps to survive.

Ashes Under the Willow Tree

Ashes Under the Willow Tree

He would stare at the apple tree you planted by the wall and count the fruit. "Whenever the blossoms came in, he would stay excited for days. "He kept telling me that once the branches were heavy with apples, it meant you were coming home. "And every time you did come back, he shared half the apples with the other children." "He would puff out his chest and tell them, 'My mom planted this tree for me! My mom is coming home!'" For a moment, Jennifer seemed to see it too: the small boy with his shirt gathered into a pouch, full of apples, running around and handing them out.

HUNTED

HUNTED

His adam's apple moved seductively the moment he swallowed loudly. “Turn over. Ass up, face down," I continued, looking straight into his eyes. "I want to see how pretty you look, arched and waiting for my mouth, before I claim the rest.”

Save Me, My Alpha, My Mate

Save Me, My Alpha, My Mate

I needed to locate a safe haven as soon as possible… I came across an oak tree with a branch that was low enough for me to climb. Without thinking, I hopped onto the limb, landing on my belly. The burn from the bark scraped my skin causing me to wince; I bit my tongue to prevent myself from yelling. Uneven tree husks tugged on the top of my underwear as I rushed to pull myself up any branch strong enough to support my weight. I continued climbing almost to the top of the tree, where any branch higher would surely break. Content with the last branch, I sat down and curled my legs into the fetal position; hiding behind the trunk of the tree as I attempted to lower my chances of getting noticed

Hunger Awaits

Hunger Awaits

Kendra's POV I awoke shivering under a blanket of fresh snow. I couldn't move and I knew that the snow was still falling. "You have to get up Kendra," I said out loud to myself. I tried to sit up, but the moment I tried to move my leg the pain shot through my whole body. It was so intense that I instantly felt sick to my stomach. I laid back feeling defeated and helpless. I never thought that it would end this way. It wasn't going to end this way, I thought to myself. My will to live started to take hold and I made myself slip into a crawling position. I pushed everything out of my mind except the will to live and started to slowly crawl. There was a fallen tree just a few feet in front of m

The Damned Alpha

The Damned Alpha

He saw a faint gleam within the distance, becoming brighter with each step, and after that he saw her, a figure rising from the darkness, limping, her face enlightened by the gleam of the fungi. “Lena!” Ethan rushed forward, his relief overwhelming his fear. Lena looked up, her face pale and drawn. She was clutching her side, blood seeping through her fingers. “Ethan…” she whispered, her voice weak. “I… I thought I lost you.” He caught her as she collapsed, easing her to the ground. “Here I'm,” he said, his voice trembling. “What happened? Are you hurt?” Lena shook her head weakly. “It’s not me… it’s the tree. It… it’s alive, Ethan. It’s hunting us.”

The Long-lasting Tree

The Long-lasting Tree

Lamittan Minsahwarrior blue
Was he among the crowd or had he been eaten by a specter on his way to seek adventure into the world? When the crowd arrived at the river, the sky began to laden slowly and the ambience became fell signifying a terrible battle. The sky had been clear and it was a wonder to see dark nimbus clouds gathered low. The men crossed over to the other side of the river where the Long-lasting tree stood elegantly. They stood in silence staring at the tree. It was very huge and green and its roots spread down to the waters. The ground appeared just as sacred as it had been many years ago and a fragrant smell seemed to stem out of the tree. They gazed at each other, each of them fearing to start the cut

This book is highly educative. For someone like me who studies cross-cultural communication, I find it quite important. I'm learning a lot concerning the culture of the Luo tribe of Kenya and how they responded to the western culture, religious conflict and quite a lot to do with relationship. ?

A book to pick from the shelf. Felt i was reliving times here, those wonderful moments in the history of a people. The Blue-eyed's intention with the bell and the tree's inexplicable powers are itchy... felt like I just wanted to know it all. This is a five-star novel, can't hesitate to say. ???

The Empress and the Alpha

The Empress and the Alpha

“I don't know and I don't care, we just have to keep you safe! Penn stated. “Get to the Sacred Tree!” Nova's voice rang through the air. “It has a silver trunk and blue leaves! They cannot harm us if we're there!” “That should be easy enough to find, right?” I asked hopefully. We desperately looked around as we continued running. I heard the crunching of leaves. I looked over my shoulder and saw a Leecher Zombie in pursuit. These things were faster than I thought. I cried out as we were tackled to the ground. “I can already taste you!” The Leecher Zombie panted as he got to his feet and started dragging me by the ankles.

I'm only halfway through and you know I adore your other stories. I'll be honest I'm not a fan of the werewolf genre...but OMG this is amazing? It's so different from any other werewolf novel I've read! It's funny and high fantasy I worship Zelda! Hunter is wild I just love all of this!! Brilliant!

I thought Zelda would only be the funny one. I didn't expect it would be the same with Hunter. The way he was rejected and said that he would tell it to his parents was just hilarious lol. The humor of this book is not something to be missed. This book is a must-read for great entertainment. Awesome

And that is what we want for you, too! ‘Why does it have to be me? Look at me! I am weak!’ Why can’t they see that? I cannot even use mind link! I could hear their voices in my head but I cannot use the link the same way they do. ‘You are not weak, Katniss. To me, to Dad, Mom, Archer, and Ronan, you are special. You are born to do greater things. After this, go straight to the tree house. There is a bag underneath the bed. There are clothes, money, and medicine for you there. There is also a phone there and a car key. The car is hidden in the bushes near the tree house. Go far away for now.’
