Olivia wiped her face, grabbed her coat, and whispered, “No more running.”
The sanctuary was hidden deep in the mountains, past narrow roads and ancient forests. When Olivia arrived, hooded figures moved through the torchlight, chanting in low voices. Symbols covered the stone walls—interlocking H’s, the old Henderson insignia twisted into something new.
Jessica stood at the altar, dressed in white again, her hands raised as if in worship.
Olivia crept closer behind the columns, watching. The crowd murmured her named, Jessica Henderson, reborn.
