GONE ASTRAY

GONE ASTRAY

“We will simply talk.” “Ooh, this is a first for me.” Erin giggled and Akira scoffed, which was noticed by the elder right away. “Ah, a cynic dragged along by her friend who believes in the art of fortune-telling. I haven’t seen a pair like this in months.” He laughed and nodded to himself. “My regulars call me Manong Niño.” “Nice to meet you, Manong Niño!” Erin exclaimed and then pointed to herself and her friend. “I’m Erin and this is Akira. I’m normal, while she can talk to ghosts.”

Whispers of the Void What Lurks Beneath the Abyss

Phil looked at the papers with strong interest since what he saw was straight-up weird. "Uhm, sir. Are all these studies about non-scientific beings?" "Good observation Phil. Yes, they are studies on different phenomenons that cannot be explained by our modern science." Seth smiled at Phil who was staring at the papers intently. "Here look" Pointing at a paper that was filled with text about ghosts. "The one you saw behind your classmate could be a ghost." Phil was filled with doubts as he stared at Seth who was smiling while presenting to him the paper about ghosts

The Mighty Guardians.

The Mighty Guardians.

And the details were written about those pictures. She named them as demonic power spells. I sighed while going through the diary. Then came the pages for ghosts. She had written stories about the ghosts. Full stories like how she learned about a ghost in a place. Then she fought the ghosts and scared them away. The whole diary was filled with crazy things. Ghosts, spirits, Angels, demons, hell, heaven and God. By the end of that diary, I started to think that all the stories were real. I started to believe everything I saw in that diary.

Immortal Love

Immortal Love

Almost all. Whenever I see that dream when my son asked for my help. He asked me to save him. I don't know what? But he asked me to save him. And, it was better known to me that it was a son when a 'manannangal' ( A phillipines aswang/ ghost which roams at night with half torso and she is a woman) almost ate up my son inside my fetus last month. Her long tongue was almost entering through my mouth to get to my fetus, to eat my son. But, I was quick to grab her long tongue and tie her up with the upper torso of her body in my room.

The Ascension

Maybe this situation was actually nice since no ghost would awaken him from his sleep this time. 'That headless priest sure looked scary. But at least, it's not very heartless. It allowed this guy who obviously lacked sleep to get some rest.' Leyte shrugged, then went back to the living room to read the book. The font was neither English nor Filipino alphabet. It seemed to be Baybayin, the writing system of ancient Filipinos. Amongst mortals, only the owner could read the book. Each time they did, memories of the deceased would pop up in their head. Then the deceased would appear in their lives as a ghost.

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

They continued their piracy and made the Spanish pirate islands their home. The Red Captain continued as a notorious pirate who gave birth to a long tradition of the pirate family, The Ghost Pirates. laughed at the promise. It's probably because I was surprised that a dirty child was clinging to me. Why should I be happy, right? "Naturally, I was surprised, Gen. Maybe later it will be kicked and bitten." "There are no ghosts here. There are no ghosts. There are monsters." This is the answer. "You know, it's amazing that you know folk tales. Do you know the words you use in Tagalog? Can't it be Korean, Japanese, Russian, or Italian... Why Filipino and English?" I asked wonderingly. Of course, I'm Filipino, I just happened to ask here.

The Phantom Reaper

The Phantom Reaper

The sight I saw is what already has, and what will haunt my slumbering hours for the rest of my life. The first thing I noticed were the dark pools of color across the sheets, illuminated by the moonlight trickling in from the window. Blood. There was blood EVERYWHERE. I withdrew the sheets with trembling hands and fell to my knees in despair when my father’s severed head rolls from the bed with the disruption of the sheets, making a loud thud. My hands hover over his cheeks, shaking with waves of tears and hiccupped sobs. My eyes trace over his features as if there was any possible hope, this wasn’t real. He looked peaceful at least, murdered without even waking up I suspect. His neck is se

The Hunter and the Vampire

They’d made the decision firm when they were in Jodhpur, searching for a vetal that would take over corpses and haunt the souls of the living, begging to pass on from this world to the next. I’d been fairly nonplussed when they’d told me that – the stories about Paris sounded much more pleasant – but I supposed it wasn’t as bad as their travels through the Philippines, tracking a particularly nasty manananggal who was leaving a trail of injured pregnant women behind, who would later give birth to children with grossly deformed faces. They’d told me in gruesome detail about how they’d found the detached bottom half of her body, and how it had dissolved when they’d covered it in salt and garli

The Peculiar Morass

The Peculiar Morass

"Article XVII - They shall be killed, who profane places where sacred objects of their diwatas or headmen are buried. He who gives way to the call of nature at such places shall be burned." "Article XVIII - Those who do not cause these rules to be observed, if they are headmen, shall be stoned and crushed to death, and if they are old men, shall be placed in rivers to be eaten by sharks and crocodiles." "Those 18 articles I had discussed turned out to be non-existent. In 1986 historian William Henry Scott made a Critical Study of the Prehispanic Source Materials for the Study of Philippine History. In front of respected historians and scholars, Scott defended his findings and succeeded. His
