Unspoken Truths - Book 2

Unspoken Truths - Book 2

I say, strolling back toward her. “Besides Rat Trap on your fake tits, the second game is called Truth: A Little Flesh or Lies: A Lot of Flesh.” I smirk. “Rules are simple. I’m going to adjust our little rat friend, so he’s positioned right above your overpriced silicone tits. Then, I ask a question. As I heat the bucket. You answer and if I believe you, I release a little heat. Vincent over there, he takes part of a finger. But if we think you’re lying?” I glance over at Vinny. “I heat the bucket, and he takes the whole fucking finger.”

She Writes Her Own Heartbeat

She Writes Her Own Heartbeat

I explained, letting a hint of genuine sadness enter my voice. "She is an elderly relative who was manipulated by Sebastian's lawyers. She only heard the initial, violent truth and was trying to protect me. But the real threat was the criminal empire that tried to destroy us." My most powerful tool was my own work. I used the interview to connect Benjamin’s painful honesty to the theme of my bestseller, The Debt. "The premise of my book is that you cannot move forward until you pay your dues and face your greatest lies," I asserted. "Benjamin has faced his. He publicly confessed the childhood lie about the 'tree incident' that haunted him. He publicly apologized for the violence against Marc

Alpha Kate

Alpha Kate

He would never admit to any wrongdoing now or in the past. In my experience there were two sides to every story and somewhere in the middle was the truth. Even with a healthy amount of truth on his side, he had still played a role in this situation. “Now if you will excuse me father, I have some work to do in the library,”; “Oh?” he asks. “Yes, I’m putting Caleb and his wife and pups in the Pack history book, where they belong.” Without looking back, I walk away from my father. Love this book. Poor Kate went through so much during the course of this book. She went from being rejected, having to postpone being made Alpha, to being challenged and attacked multiple times. I'm so happy that she finally got her mate, Colby, who seems to be amazing.

I love the long chapter at the start. but out of curiosity, how old is the author? theres a lot of slipping between first and third person which you usually see in younger writing. maybe ESL. i am yet to finish chapters 1 - 7 it will be an interesting journey

LOVE LOST, LOVE FOUND

LOVE LOST, LOVE FOUND

And as I looked into the host's eyes, I knew that this was just the beginning of an incredible journey, one that would take me to places I never thought possible. As I continued to share my story, the host's eyes widened in shock and surprise. "Cynthia, I had no idea," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Your book... it's about you, isn't it?" I nodded, feeling a sense of vulnerability and exposure. "Yes, it is," I admitted. "The book is a semi-autobiographical account of my life, my struggles, and my journey as a wife and a woman."

MARRIED TO MY ENEMY’S SON

MARRIED TO MY ENEMY’S SON

I set the phone down and looked at the kitchen the counter, the window, the city beyond it doing its July Tuesday thing entirely without awareness of what had just been decided in the space above it. My father’s story was going to be a book. The truth of what had happened to him rendered accurately, with full attention, in his daughter’s own words was going to exist in the permanent, specific, accessible form of something that could be carried and kept and found by people who needed it. Emmanuel Okoye had believed that truth was worth fighting for. He had been right. He had been right about everything that mattered. And his daughter had finished the fight. Not ended it finished it. When the Truth Was Born

When the Truth Was Born

I stood there, watching the sad spectacle, and replied with a calm finality, "There's no need. We're done for good. It's over between us." Rebecca's tears came harder, perhaps because she heard me. It was not long before the Harris Group crumbled into bankruptcy. Marvin, with his sticky fingers in the till, had left them drowning in a sea of debt. Their house and car had been snatched away by the court's gavel and sold to the highest bidder. Marvin? He bolted abroad with the last of their cash, the second they hit rock bottom; he did not even bother to take their kid. Rebecca got stuck with the bills and a child to raise on her own.

The Supernatural Spa

The Supernatural Spa

But when my three friends told the theater troupe about their story they couldn’t help but say that it’s a good thing that they’re gay at the end of their tale. ++++++++++++++ That’s the only story I have for today, dear reader. And again, I leave you with this statement: Most of the stories in this book are true. It’s up to you to guess which is and which is not. This is your storyteller, The Diwata, bidding everyone a hearty goodbye for now.

The truth Untold

The truth Untold

Kyle said with authority. "Mr. Timothy Kim, what can you say about the issue?" the other reporter asked him. "To tell you honestly, I just went there to buy some drinks, after work. But, I didn't expect that it will be going to rain heavily." Timothy said with sincerity and he looked at me and Cody. "Alex Kim, contacted me. I am not really feeling well that time. I ask Alex to get me." Timothy explained. We didn't tell the truth. I know, we're lying... but we can't tell the truth about Timothy has a relationship with someone else when we were not allowed to be in a relationship. I don't want someone to ruin this relationship just because of a girl.
