Truth Be Told Mathew West Novels & Stories

" I said with worry in my voice. "You’re going to tell her to meet you somewhere and that you need to tell her something really important." But you’re not going to be there." I will, and Matthew will be there. You see, I need to talk to your sister." She knows all about me.'' I am the guy she wants and loves, not him. He said with so much disdain and jealousy. I am Christian West," he said with a grin on his lips. Oh God, that can’t be him. I thought. This guy in front of me is mean and hateful and evil. This can’t be the boy her sister talked about with a smile and happiness on her face. How he helped her with her bullies.

“But how do you know I was at the Sky Hotel earlier today?” “My wolf led me there.” “You mean…?” I couldn’t believe I was really his fated mate. “But I’m wolfless, Mr. Parker.” With that, I lowered my head and wait to be judged. "I found out about that last night." He said in a flat tone, as if the fact that I couldn't shift into a wolf couldn’t be more ordinary. I just couldn't believe my ears. "You found out about that last night? Then why did you make it sound like we’re together as mates earlier at the Sky Hotel? I'm wolfless! This isn’t a small matter!”

But lying to a man like him was just as dangerous. I forced my hands to stay still by my sides. Calm. Think. Speak carefully. “My mother never told me who my father was,” I said, keeping my voice low, careful. Alpha Donovan didn’t blink. His silence was worse than yelling. It stretched between us, cold and heavy. Then, finally, he gave a slow nod. He didn’t believe me. I could see it in the way his gaze lingered, in the way his fingers tapped once against his robe. But he let it go. For now.

I feel like I'm gonna get trapped if I jump right into it. “I know you have doubts,” he began, voicing my thoughts. “I know you think I'm trying to mess with you but I promise you, I'm not. I'm being a hundred percent serious.” “Right,” I mumbled, scrutinizing him, searching for anything that would give him out. Anything that would make me realize he's trying to mess with me. “I can take an oath if you want. Anything at all. I don't mind.” He sounds really convincing, and there's nothing about him that signals that he's lying. So it's kinda safe to believe that he's not. It's kinda safe to believe that he's telling the truth.

She was no longer the little girl he had taken care of and that alone scared him. ‘’She is not to be trusted’’ Mathew suddenly said through the mindlink. Chase had not been expecting something of that sought. It was coming from one of his most trusted men and there was no way he was going to believe Stephanie over a Gamma who has given his life for his a thousand times. Mathew was one of the very few gems still in existence in the moon crescent pack. He had not only gone undercover as Sofia’s guard, but he did a good job. He never betrayed his master and now that he was back to his original post, Chase trusted him with everything.

He was the only one who answered. After that, he faced me as he spoke. “I, Matthew, take you, Winter Wesley, to be my wife. I promise to be faithful to you, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love you and to honor you all the days of my life.” I was just looking at him with a raised eyebrow when I suddenly heard my mom yell. “Winter! Say it too!”

Mathew was quite popular from back in the days being the son of the back then governor of the capital city and now he was trying to claim his father’s legacy who died while at duty, the statement behind his father’s death while at duty was unclear and justice had never been found for his father. He, however, did not feel threatened by that and had taken up the journey and had lost in the first round even though he had the numbers the results came out showing Mr. Lodipo as the winner.

Matthew hugged me, saying, "Yes, I lied this time. I went out with Lauren last night, but she got me drunk and insisted on sending me to a hotel to rest. I didn’t think we would…yeah. She’s been interested in me for quite some time. “I’ve been avoiding her, but I had to meet her last night to…secure a proper asset declaration from the bank!” I stared at Matthew, and he continued, “I was determined to secure ATL Empire’s project for our family. Then, I could fulfill my promise and provide a lavish life for you. Honey, you have to believe me. I did it all for our future, but I admit I made a mistake!” I laughed at his words as tears rolled down my face. I wasn’t sure if I was acting anymore at

It was real. I turned to Matthew, my breath shallow. “Why are you showing me this? What do you want from me?” Matthew's eyes narrowed. “I just want you to see the truth, Eloise. You’ve been living a lie your whole life.” I turned to Matthew, my breath shallow. “Why are you showing me this?
