My Twitter and Tumblr were racking up hits and comments were beginning to accumulate below the blog. Sometimes I felt a little narcissistic as I took in my readers' feedback. But then I remembered that I was a writer and I made my living off of entertaining other people. Their entertainment was my fuel and their feedback was rewarding. And there’s nothing wrong with accepting a few nice complements, especially after you’ve had your heart crushed, I thought.
