The Hunt for Knowledge

The Hunt for Knowledge

The entire group sat spellbound, not able to move or speak. Dumbfounded, they sat staring at the last of the blue ink before it, too, was gone. Luca tried to open more pages but they were stuck fast. All that was left was the eerie image of an old man with hard eyes staring out of the page.

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

The book had an entire thirty-page chapter on soul resurrection but not soul fetching. Slightly annoyed, Levy started to look through the books again and this time much more carefully as she stared at each page until she was sure that she wasn’t missing anything finally she found what exactly was wrong at the end of the third book. “ Someone tore pages from this book,” murmured Levy as she ran her fingers through the rough yet very clean edge of the torn page. Whoever tore the pages of the book, did it very carefully… in fact, they did it so cleanly that Levy would’ve never found what was wrong with the book unless she carefully skimmed through each page.

it's a great book so far and I can't wait to see how it ends. There are some grammar corrections that need to be made but they are not to where you can't understand the book. the book is quite long and it's the second longest book that I've read. I was disappointed that a couple of chapters are

I really liked the start of the book but started flipping through chapters and there’s a lot of filler chapters saying the same thing and honestly 700 chapters is way too much..the story line is good but waiting for something to happen made me move on to a different story

Rejected to be His Luna

Rejected to be His Luna

If you aren’t my owner, you will be cursed if you turn over this page. My fingers froze inches away from the page. I was about to turn over, but stopped. What type of curse will it be? “Will you turn over the page?” Laila asked. I gulped and shook my head. “I guess I won’t. I don’t have time to deal with curses right now. Not until I find the Nyx scythe. Maybe I will turn over this page after that, or maybe I won’t even after that.” I closed the diary and was about to keep it back in the drawer when something fell from it.

Absolutely loved reading this and I’m hoping there will be sequels that will answer some of the questions about some of the characters and what’s happened to them. Love the twists & turns plus it’s not a predictable plot. It’s not like other books so it’s refreshing.

Alpha's Blind Luna

Alpha's Blind Luna

I closed the books and sighed. Looking at the genealogy book, I pulled it closer and opened it up. Flipping through some of the pages, I decided to go from the back and worked my way in. The last page that had any writing on it was my name, sitting at the top of the blank page.

The Mistress Surrogate

The Mistress Surrogate

I promise myself I won't get involved in any Damon related matters and this isn't because I was avoiding him is just that curiosity kills the cat and I can't be the cat in this story so it's better I stear clear from them. So when did it change? When did I loose guard and allowed myself become the cat.... My hands were itching and my head was pounding not leaving out the heart that was beating so fast as I took the book for the second time in my hand. At that moment I knew my end... I searched profusely for the last page I was at before the pages went missing. There was something off about it. The lines of the torn pages were still there but the book had continued from the previous point onl

Chasing the Wife He couldn't Love: Ex-Husband's Regret

Chasing the Wife He couldn't Love: Ex-Husband's Regret

Just my husband. "Is it over?" Bryan asked, looking at the house. "I think so," I said. But then I felt a weight in my pocket. I reached in and pulled out a small, leather-bound book. I hadn't put it there. I opened the book. Every page was blank except for the very last one. On the last page, there was a single sentence written in fresh, red ink: 'The sequel begins when you turn the key.' I looked at our new front door. There was a key in the lock. It was made of solid gold, and it was carved into the shape of a wolf’s head.

The Island of the Silence

The Island of the Silence

Morrigan's voice trembled. “It’s old enough that meaning no longer plays a role for him.” The librarian raised something. A hand. Or something similar. A huge figure of characters and shadows. Letters fell down from her like black rain. Phrases. Words. Names. Forgotten names. The sky over Nerevin darkened. Then the librarian spoke. Not loud. And yet it heard the whole city. A voice of a thousand voices. From millions. ‘THE LAST PAGE’. Mara felt the sound in her bones.

The First Wife’s Revenge

The First Wife’s Revenge

Her thoughts wouldn’t slow down. She began flipping through every page, desperate for sense. Then she noticed something strange, tiny marks in the corners of some pages. Dots. Circles. A pattern. She counted them, one, two, three, four… eight. The eighth marked page was the last one. She turned it slowly. It was blank. Or so it seemed. When she tilted the notebook toward the light, faint pencil impressions appeared, shadows of words written on a missing page that had been torn out.

Tables Turned

Tables Turned

I had already lost half my life, but there was no way I was going to let them parade around with what was rightfully mine for the rest of it. I swallowed the sour taste of the past and said, "You're right. I'm done putting on a show. It's time to close the curtain. Their love? I don't need it. However, what's rightfully mine… What my parents left for me, I'm taking it all back." The mocking laughter rang out again, like a taunt at my naive hopes. However, this time, my heart stayed calm, undisturbed. I left without looking back.
