Her Reckoning

Her Reckoning

The truck sat crooked off the shoulder, its headlights throwing long, sickly beams across the scrub. Rhett’s chest rose and fell, breath ragged, the gun still hot in his hand. He swept his gaze over the wreckage, counting bodies, counting breaths, making sure none of his brothers were bleeding out in the dirt. Hawk was on his feet, spitting curses as he reloaded. Tank loomed near the rig, shotgun leveled at the cab. Ghost stood still as stone, pale eyes cutting through the dark, his pistol steady. Two Serpents were alive enough to kneel, hands bound behind their backs, blood streaking their faces. A third crawled, one leg bent wrong, breath bubbling wet in his chest. Hawk kicked him over, pr

Lone Witch, Rogue Wolf

Lone Witch, Rogue Wolf

An inherent grimness present within depths of his tone, Tilla felt a knot of resentment form within her stomach. “You mean my power is magnificent?” She replied. The skeletal man not bothered in denying the allegation. He leaned down instead to lick the ghastly scent of destruction from the exposed skin on Tilla’s neck. The scene, appearing to awaken some base impulse within him, the man followed this action with a kiss. Before hissing a wicked vow into her ear, “You will give me the world.” The fervor of his desire, creating a sickening wave to ripple across her flesh. Tilla fought back the wrenching feeling in her stomach with a distressed gasp.

Alpha Kael And The Crimson Bloodline

Alpha Kael And The Crimson Bloodline

Joss asked, his stick trembling in his hands. For the first time, the man’s eyes flared red. His voice deepened, turning guttural, wrong. “Because I am the one who kills them.” The lantern dropped. Glass shattered. Tomas barely had time to gasp before the man lunged. Claws pierced his chest, and the creature—Varek, or what wore him—sank its teeth into his throat. Blood poured as Tomas’s scream was choked away, his body trembling violently before going limp.

The alphas sons forbidden Luna

The alphas sons forbidden Luna

His wolf howled one last time, a vow carried through blood and pain: I am yours. And then he went still, his chest rising and falling in shallow, broken breaths, the scent of death creeping close. Above him, Marcus rose from his throne, his voice cutting through the noise like a blade. “The trial is done.”

Alpha's Worthless Remorse

Alpha's Worthless Remorse

His hands started twitching as if his body were tearing itself apart. Perhaps it was the pain that frayed his patience. His voice, when he spoke again, was louder, more cutting. "How much longer are you going to act so unreasonable?" he snapped. "I told you—I love you! Can't you give me even a shred of trust?" "Spare me the sweet words," I said coldly. "Where is my father's spear?" He faltered. "Your father's spear? Why do you—" "Is it the one Alpha Jacob gifted me?" Hazel interrupted, her tone feigning innocence.

MY HOT BIKER SAVIOUR

MY HOT BIKER SAVIOUR

I wasn’t going to be the one to only listen. We sat in the back room, a map of our own spread across the table. Tessa leaned over it, her hand feathering a route with a pen. She looked like someone who’d swallowed her own storm and made it still. The bruise under her eye had started to fade but there was a new one blooming on her jawline, a souvenir from the fight at the bar. She worked anyway. “They’re going to hit the supply,” I said. “It’s Marcus. He doesn’t do stray dogs. He pins teeth on everything. You saw the way he smiled at Reed’s memorial. He wants panic.”

Mate Rebound

Tyler pointed a gun, his hand steady, his eyes finding mine, the barrel gleaming. I tensed, my sword blown away, but then Rosa fell low, covering my body, the shot tearing her chest. She fell to the ground, a pool of blood forming under her, her breath rattling. Elara screamed, her voice raw, the glass shattering sound piercing the air, and I was motionless at last, my eyes flicking to Tyler’s ritual knife on the altar, its blade inscribed with runes, a tablet at its base blinking: “One vessel must die. Between us?” I gasped, knowing it was a question but unable to keep my voice from going to a broken whisper in the empty expanse of the room.

.Chapter 23 Tension Meanwhile, burdened by the weight of betrayal, Nerissa desperately sought out Tritan, intercepting him on his way to training. The profound hurt of betrayal was etched on her face as she signed, her hands trembling with emotion, "Did you turn them in?" Tritan's expression hardened, his eyes reflecting a mix of pain and determination, but he maintained a calm demeanor as he signed back, his hands firm and resolute, "No, I promised you I wouldn't! I would never break a promise, Nerissa." Tritan held her gaze, hurt that she would question his unwavering loyalty. After a moment of silence, Nerissa nodded, her eyes brimming with understanding, acknowledging Tritan's steadfastn

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

“Are you alright Tish?” “Saint?” She looks up and gasps with tears in her eyes. “Yeah.” I try to smile, but that’s not really my thing. I hold out my palm with a few tiger nuts. “I got you something.” She looks at my palm, then up at me again before she throws her arms around me with a squeak. “You’re not mad at me?” “I didn’t say I wasn’t mad.” I take her shoulders and move her back so I can look at her. “You killed someone Iokaste and Bronx loved very much. Earn back everyone’s trust now.”

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!
Sarah Geer
Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!

The Unspoken Accord

The Unspoken Accord

William demanded, his fist clenched. “They left something, sir. In the exact spot where Mrs. Williams found the ledger. On the floor.” “What is it, Hassan?” Mimi asked, her voice eerily calm. “A flower, ma’am. A single, fresh white orchid. In a crystal vial. And… a note.” William closed his eyes, dread a physical weight. “Read it.” Over the speaker, they heard the rustle of paper, then Hassan’s voice, thin with fear, recited the words that turned the game into a nightmare.
