Chapter 5: The Forgotten Beauty Six months had passed since the fateful day that changed everything. The setting shifted to a hospital ward, where a young girl lay motionless in a bed, surrounded by the beeping of machines and the sterile smell of antiseptics. The ward was dimly lit, with only a few rays of sunlight peeking through the blinds. The room was filled with various medical equipment, monitors, and IV poles, a testament to the girl's critical condition.

Chaos told her. "So you are trying to tell me that I am Zia and in my past life I am one of the fallen angel's daughter?" "Exactly," Chaos nodded his head. "But not just any angel, but the one who leads the others to fight the Creator." "So you are among the fallen angels?" "Yes, one of the originals. When we came down here, we saw our mates and bear children with them, demons, and that is how we multiply." Chaos said. "But as the years went by, Zia was reborn as you and Moon was reborn also." He added.

My wings felt weak, the tips were greying as my eyes fluttered shut and I lost consciousness. I sure hope that this is not my time, how can a human kill a fallen angel?

The original peace treaty still lay in the position it had millenniums beforehand, untouched by visitors. Dusty pages flipped silently. Words flew threw his mind at inhuman speed. He had been reading about the unwritten rule of pureblood angels. These angels were to only be royalty, however it came with a deadly price. Many of these newborns were ticking time bombs of anguish and destruction, having the power to level entire cities. Some never made it past infancy. This caused a very large shortage in heirs to the throne, with only one child surviving every millennium.

Itsuki said, which made Marcus frown in confusion. “Angel with devil horns? Why?” he asked. “The girls in our troops are called Angels. But since she’s the coldest and ruthless among them, they called her Angel with devil horns.” Mariko rolled her eyes as she put the weapons they had used earlier from the training back on its shelves.

“Now listen, girl. You have to realize that you have opened a whole lot of darkness, by falling in love with a fallen angel like Azrael.” “He isn’t a fallen angel, Grandmother Willow.” Ava turned towards her with a glare within her eyes. Something that the spirit was glad to see, other than the pain. “He is the Angel of Death, not a fallen angel. He was a given a job to collect souls for God.”

It was all a forced duty for him and she had felt it. She wondered if he also felt this suffocated? He was in love with someone else at that time. Did he also feel forced? Angela went to the church for some peace of mind and returned home hours later to a shocking news. Carla told her that Nichelle had met with a tragic accident and was in a hospital. Angela couldn’t process it for a whole good minute. She had talked to Nichelle this morning only. She rushed to the hospital with Jonas. She dialed Nick but he didn’t answer her call. Stefan also didn’t. She was freaking out now. Her tears refused to dry up.

There is no easy way out, and there is no solution for the pain faced by angels who have sinned, or for those who have fallen in love with mortals. Even now, the fate of those who were cast out of Heaven and stripped of their wings remains a great mystery to us all. No one can say for certain what became of them after that moment of punishment. Did they eventually become human? Were those fallen angels regarded as being like the ones who rebelled against God under Lucifer’s lead, equated with demons and evil spirits? Or were they imprisoned somewhere beyond our sight, perhaps in the Second Heaven? I did not know. No one truly knew.

Emily and Alex sat in her hotel room, a heavy silence hanging between them. Alex stood up, pacing slowly as he gathered his thoughts. Finally, he began, his voice tinged with a mix of sorrow and resolve. "Operation Sentinel Resolve. That was the last operation we went on, and it was the day I lost all my team members. It was also the first time I transformed." Emily watched him, her eyes wide with concern and curiosity. "It was supposed to be a simple information recovery operation," Alex continued, his voice growing more intense. "But we were sabotaged. My team had to protect me, and that's how I survived. They gave their lives for me."
