Twice Blessed Book Novels & Stories

My heart was wild, alive, free. The path back seemed shorter than before, though it twisted between jagged rocks and tall grass but I leapt across rocks and trees as if it was nothing. The morning light spilled through the clouds, soft and golden. I could see tiny details now, the veins in leaves, the shimmer of dew on spiderwebs. Every sound carried clear: the chirp of distant birds, the rustle of pine needles, the steady rhythm of my own breathing. The air tasted sweet. I could still sense the twins somewhere inside, their energy bright, steady, intertwined like twin flames. They were planning something, I could feel it. A storm gathering quietly in the distance.

“Stop letting your chest tremble like.” She pressed her hand hard against my sternum—warm, steady—then shoved something into my palm. It felt sharp. Bone? Metal? I didn’t look. Then Just leaned in, kissed my forehead, and whispered something in a language I didn’t recognize. Her lips were cold. Her voice, even colder. It wasn’t comfort—it was protection. Blessing. Curse. All mixed in. “The twins’ love will protect you,” she said. “But don’t test it. Even God steps back when fools run into fire.”

Sabine's hand found my chest and rested there warm and certain. Eight minutes left. Arc 24: Twice Blessed continues in Chapter 70...

Alec’s arms wrapped around me as we rocked the twins, his voice a murmur: “They have your eyes.” “And your stubbornness,” I teased. He kissed my temple. “Perfect.” Outside, the city glittered—a kingdom rebuilt, not stolen. *Ours.* *The End.*

Something that looked suspiciously like hope. Anaïs closed her eyes, breathed it in, and for the first time in years, she did not brace for loss. She opened them again to the dawn, to the child’s small hand pressed against the glass, to Cassian’s steady presence at her side. Not the end of the storm. But the beginning of whatever came after. The embers glowed. The horizon widened. And life, stubborn and unyielding, went on. "They had lived through fire, and what remained was not ruin, but the proof that love endures.”

The moon goddess who had given her the blessings instructed her something. ‘’ The self which you don’t like will give you the advantage to save others in exchange for your blood. The blood of the blessed shall give one the chance to renew their lifespan so you’ll be special. You should understand your worth.’’ Rain stopped yelling when she recalled that. In the meantime, the witch Theia was in her house. She was practicing her magic, it was then something interrupted her thoughts. ‘’ What’s up with this feeling? As if someone I know is on the verge of death.’’

The next thing I know, I´m falling into the vortex, my hands outstretched. I hear Liam´s scream. “NOOOOOOO!” I witness him falling into the vortex with me. Afterwards, everything descends into darkness. > END OF BOOK 2 <

5 years ago, I was blessed to open a publishing house as well. E.H. Publishing has had success with multiple top-selling books, and awards. I am grateful for my success, and the benefits packages that accompany it but, were I being honest with myself, I feel empty. It has been several decades since I felt a woman embrace. I have tried, I have tried to move on but, soon all becomes dust in the wind and I have yet to find someone who touches my soul just as my sweet Eliza did. I will never again be able to see her, feel her again.

A crushing pain twisted through my abdomen, making me curl up and tremble. My nails dug into the cracks in the wall, and with difficulty, I asked, "What did you feed me?" She put on a sweet smile and slowly said, "Medicine. Made for miscarriage. Ten minutes later, your second child will turn into mush and bleed out from your lower body." Her sharp laughter filled the room. I was leaning against the headboard, shivering, but my eyes were on the knife on the fruit platter. Cecelia was still bragging. "My baby comes in five months, while yours will turn into a pile of mush. You're a failure who can't even protect your chil—"

Dad asked. “Oh no, there is no problem at all, Alpha Jonathon. Quite the opposite, actually. Your children are what the ancient scrolls call an “Amethyst Pair,” a blessed set of twins born only once every thousand years....” As Elder Lewis spoke, we all listened intently. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Was I to hold powers? I’d always felt so basic; now I was being told I was a rare and unique wolf? Amethyst pranced around in my mind, preening. She had always known she was special; she just had to wait for us to shift for everyone else to find out.
