excited Elena rushed to the door to see what Rob had gotten for her. She opened the door with excitement which quickly changed to confusion. All she could see was Rob standing in front of her drunk and shirtless "Uhm uncle what did you get for me?" She asked. Rob gave her no response and just stared at her body. uncomfortable with the way he looked at her she tried to close the door but Rob held the door open and forced his way into her room "I want you, Elena, I want you" he said drunkenly. "Elena, Elena... where are you?" she heard Britney call out. "Oh no, that must be aunt, She's back. You need to go please." shivering she sat on the bed as Rob made his way out. "ELENA!!" This was so that Twilight could help humanity if the remnants of the government managed to combine once more to combat the voice. Unlikely but not impossible. Twilight chuckled as he knew that was almost impossible. Ever since the apocalypse happened, he’s only seen a few outposts. And all of them weren’t under the control of the government. Twilight himself was a lone wolf. For some reason, he was better off alone. He was good at sneaking around and he was more likely to be caught if he joined another group. Eventually, Twilight sees the end of the elevated highway. Then he felt his stomach growl.

(Aurora's POV) Twilight painted the sky in deepening shades of purple as I stood in the courtyard of the Blackwood Ancestral Den. The chill air nipped at my exposed skin, but I hardly noticed it. My focus remained entirely on the tall figure standing on the terrace above. Alexander Blackwood's face was blurred in the dimming light. His features, once so familiar to me, now seemed distant—a landscape I could no longer navigate with certainty. I forced myself to smile, though I knew he couldn't see it. Last I heard Worthington was getting overrun with nonhuman entities and the rest of the wolves that were in the twin's pack have joined Axel and Nick. The twin Alphas are still helping the witches. THE TWILIGHT COURT Maerwynn’s POV The city emerged like something out of a dream. It clung to the mountains, glowing softly with an otherworldly light. The buildings looked like crystal, impossibly tall and delicate, and the towers shimmered as though spun from the night sky itself. The light wasn’t from the sun—not the kind I knew. This place lived in twilight, where day and night held hands, casting the city in a perpetual, silvery glow. Light veins carved into mountaintops, glowing against the midnight sky. There was beauty here, haunting and fragile.

My breath caught. I knew that voice. I knew that presence. Aleksander. He stepped into the faint glow of the streetlight spilling through the window, his gaze locking on mine. The familiar scent of his cologne hung in the air, sharp enough to make my chest tighten. For a heartbeat, the room tilted, and all the warmth of the evening bled into a cold rush of dread and longing.

"The newborn reality requires counterweight." I reach for them instinctively. My petrified fingers graze their wrist—the only part of me that still affects them, the null-energy in my corruption acting as some perverse anchor. Their form solidifies under my touch, just for a second. Just enough to hurt. They don't pull away. But they don't lean in either. Axiom comes at dusk. Not with Wardens. Not with weapons.
