 A Witch's Nightmare - Dream Trilogy Book 1

A Witch's Nightmare - Dream Trilogy Book 1

After the boys had left my room, I went through my bag and pulled out my favorite book, Night Flame, by Catherine Hart. I sat back in my chair by the window, prepared to spend the rest of the afternoon reading when a shiver ran down my spine. I jumped out of my seat and spun around to see a pair of yellow eyes glowing in the corner of the room. As those eyes drew closer to me, I realized that it was Simon, the fae that came to warn me the other day.

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

"You might be right about that." Her lips curled up in a smug smile before she turned her full attention to me. “Hi, I'm Tiffany. Tiffany winner. " "Grace." I turned around until I was face to face with her. Immediately her smile slipped a little. Well, the memory of my childhood, a long scar that ran across my mouth to my chin, she had apparently not noticed before. “Maybe we should all pull paper bags over our heads. After all, nobody here wants to sully your sensitive sensitivity to aesthetics. "

There is too much to write about this story to write a review in 300 characters. I highly recommend this book, but start with the Delta’s Daughter if you haven’t already started there. Stout had me on a roller coaster of feelings with this one. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Dragon's Blood (Book Two)

Dragon's Blood (Book Two)

The air is light and refreshing, I find myself closing my eyes. Opening my eyes once more, I continue to walk forward. As I walk the grass beneath me begins to grow warm. I shift my gaze down and watch as the light green grass begins to glow yellow. From the middle of the clearing purple fog begins to form. The fog is thick and dark as it begins to further spread. I watch as the fog suddenly begins to spiral upward. Slowly the fog begins to clear and a large black dog with glowing purple eyes stands before me. Wisps of black flames surround the dog. The creature approaches me and then lies down in front of me.

Light & Darkness: Book 3

Light & Darkness: Book 3

I looked back at the pages of the book, wrapping myself more closely in the gray scarf Oliver had given me for Christmas. However, I was not allowed to return to the land depicted in the story from my book, because I sensed a strangely familiar aura that was getting closer and closer to our property. My first thought was mother, because the structure of the aura was very similar, but a few details did not match. I put the book on the table and lifted the blanket from my lap, setting it aside, before giving Oliver a meaningful look. He must have sensed the aura as well, as was already taking Alex in his arms and then walking towards the gazebo, where Oliver sat him down on the bench next to m

Whispers of Frost and Fire

I raised a trembling hand toward the scroll. As my fingers hovered above it, the ice shell began to crack—not violently, but with the soft sound of melting glass. Crystalline shards drifted down like snowflakes, dissolving before they touched the floor. I didn’t even need to touch it. The scroll wanted to be seen. Its casing gone, the parchment unrolled on its own with slow, deliberate grace, as if the paper itself was alive. Lines of writing shimmered across the surface. Not ink—light. Silver and blue, the letters shifted and rearranged themselves until the language made sense. Old Moon Tongue. I hadn’t seen it written in over two decades, and even then only in fragments.

What was happening? Before she could react, a brilliant, golden light erupted from the book's spine, flooding the room with warmth and brightness. The air around her shimmered, filled with soft, glowing particles that floated like stars in the night. Selene gasped, her breath catching as the light intensified. Its glow was so powerful that it forced her to squint.

The group gathered around it, wary but undeniably drawn to what lay before them. Myrra was the first to break the silence. “That barrier shattered as soon as Rael’s sword absorbed the last shadow. It was tied to them.” Bram scowled. “Which means whatever’s in that book, they were guarding it. And that never means anything good.” Elior carefully reached forward and undid the clasp, pulling back the cloth to reveal the book’s cover. The leather was ancient, its edges worn with time, but the golden runes across it still shimmered as though freshly etched.

The Promise Mate

"Inside the library, I saw a book. It was strange and glowing. It seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy. That energy that seemed to reverberate through every cell in my body for some reason, as if beckoning me touch it. As soon as he touched it, I felt a sudden surge of power course through my veins, a power that seemed to electrify every nerve ending. I wanted to scream because of the pain but I couldn't because I didn't want them to know I was in their library." He paused, taking a moment to collect his thoughts before continuing. "After the pain subsided, I decided to read the book and that was when everything started. As I delved deeper into the book I discovered that it actually h
