Twilight Vampire Council Novels & Stories

Theron's POV The day of the event was finally here. This is the day I officially put Twilight on the map. Another success to celebrate. Many of my past lovers have been calling nonstop to accompany me to the event but I turned them all down. I don't want any drama tonight so I decided to just go alone.

DANTE The Council consisted of the five vampire elders of the North American Kingdom. Before my brothers and I became rulers of our independent kingdoms, they, in conjunction with Ambrose, where the ones in charge of the vampires before the takeover of the world. They presided over judgements relating to eering vampires, preserved the vampire laws of the land and where called during periods of emergency in the Kingdom. As the King, I have power, but it’s not absolute. Some of my decisions had to be approved by the Council before they can be executed.

I asked quickly, switching from the question that was dancing on top of my lips to something else. He laughed bitterly, "Do you mean my wife?" Before I could change his mind, he held my face in his hands. "Not anymore, because she's right here with me. I've waited for you for a long time Bella and having you here, means the whole world to me" I removed his hand from my face. "What do you mean?" "Vampires are destined for one Emerthus (a soulmate) all our lives and if our Emerthus die before time, they get reincarnated as long as the other soulmate is still alive. He sat on the chair of his office, looking exhausted and lacking sleep. Meeting after meeting had been attended regarding the Southern Werewolves Pack but everything went back to square one again. The Defense Council dismissed the Councilors’ appeal to move Enforcers into the aforementioned pack territory. Sure the Council had ten times Enforcers than Alpha Cohen’s but they could not ignore the fact that the Kingsley family was the reason why the Council still remained strong and tall after decades of wars with the vampires.

"The council doesn't care about human opinion or human justice. We have our own laws. Our own consequences." He stepped backward, preparing to leave. "You've won your battle against the hunters, Miss Cross. Congratulations. But the vampire council is not the Purge Initiative. We are older, smarter, and far more patient. We will return for you. And when we do, all your power won't be enough to save you." "Viktor, wait.." Lucien started. But the three vampires had already vanished, moving with supernatural speed. Gone into the dawn like nightmares retreating before daylight. Only they weren't retreating. They were promising to return.

Xhagreb asked, one of the male angels, an old man around 2000 years old, who was guiding the little angels, his face was wrinkled but it was smooth and white as snow. Kram faced everyone and deeply breathed slowly, worried and restless. His wings slowly went down as he sighed in fear and worry, “A vampire was awakened in the human world,” he said, loud and clear for everyone to hear him. All eyes looked at him in horror; the angels looked at each other at the same time, some got worried and some began to panic. They were not expecting the news, and what’s worst was it was an unexpected predicament, something they never heard for too many years, something that they never wanted to know at all

It surprises me how much I miss him. We’ve reformed the werewolf council, and Willow formed a witch council. She didn’t give up her position as high priestess because there was no one else to take her place, but she runs her council from the castle. Alfred moved on with Dexter, back to Crystal Rose to serve as their coven master. The two of them are very happy, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Alfred showed up here as a vampire one day. For a happy few months, we thought that life would return to normal, but then a new megalomaniac reared his head. A man who went by one name only – Zoltan. No one knew who he was or where he came from.

The council seeking to meet me before the sun goes down is definitely not a good sign. The council is an assembly of high rank officials within the Werewolf Territory. I am also apart of this council, and so are Erik and Ramsey. Then there are twelve elders that makes the council complete. The twelve elders are werewolves who has been alive for at least a hundred years. A knock on the door of the room captures my attention. I look towards the door and I see Jake standing.

"Not today. Not yet." When I've calmed a little, I take a whiff of the air. "Well, let's attend this motherfucking meeting." A few minutes later, we are all seated. The council was created over a century ago. There are five vampire Thrones and each of us have our duties.

A vampire steps up beside Leana and I watch her look at him, smiling quickly before turning back to the council. “Safe Haven stands with Shadow Falls.” Emerson says, coming to stand beside me. “Canyon Ridge stands with Shadow Falls.” Cohen says, coming to stand on my other side. I reach forward, and take Emlyn’s hand, squeezing it. “So, what will it be, Councilmen?” She asks them. The vampire is looking at the guy standing next to Leana. “I agree to dropping the charges set against Alpha Richard.” Alpha Wyatt turns his head, obviously shocked at the vampire's verdict.
