I didn’t know shit about knives, but I was sure you can kill pretty easily with a blade like this. “The blade is a high density silver alloy, so don’t cut yourself,” Gabriel chimed in. “I won’t.” I gave him an offended look as I put the blade back and closed the box on it.

“YOU BITCH!” I reach into my pocket, my hand on the thickly covered handle of the blade. Maxim slightly straightens up and reaches for me. I pull the blade out and step to the side, shoving my hand forward. The blade cuts through his clothing and skin. I push it in until the entire blade disappears.

Kyra's POV Mark's sharp eyes met my casual and smiling ones as he stood in a confident stance, holding his twin swords in each hand. Both swords were the opposite of each other; one was slender and only as wide as two fingers. It was also long, and its tip was as pointed as a nail's. The other one was thicker and wider, almost as wide as two adults' palms placed together. It was shorter, and the tip was blunt. Both weapons might seem different, but they complement each other quite well. The blunt one only makes use of raw strength and defense, while the other focuses more on speed and agility, making it good for offense and support.

For the next hour, we worked in silence. Luca laid out gloves, gauze, and antiseptic. Matteo prepped an old generator. Which had me wonder if this was a smoke bomb or some chemical powder to make us confused as hell.
