Two Sentence Horror Novels & Stories

As my vision start blurring, I saw a shadow above the water, red eyes staring back at me, smiling wickedly at me showing me his fangs. I shut my eyes waiting for death to come. My eyes snapped opened, I was covered in a cold sweat, shaking like a leaf, heart pounding with ubnormal speed. I?looked around the room suspicious and paranoid that the horror may had followed me here, afraid that monster had followed me here.

I apologize that this book is really short with less than 30k words in all. I plan to edit it at some point and make it better. I figured that a really long Horror book might be less interesting and would just seem drawn out. I've not read a lot of them but I watch horror movies so I wrote this like I would picture an Horror movie. I appreciate all those who stuck with me and read Reincarnation regardless. Thank you all. After saying this, I would love and appreciate your feedbacks and things to watch out for when I do edit the book. It would be really helpful and appreciated. Bonus scene ideas too would be great. Kaleb scratched the side of his neck with four fingers, Inhaling and exhaling at the thought of watching a horror movie while I maintained my composure even when I was frightened deep down. He was doing things with her like now when he was watching a movie with her. Three weeks had passed since he made his promise and he had kept to every one of it. “Hey, how do you sit through these movies without getting scared?” Sebastian asked. “Because horror movies are the best, they are funny and it is fun to watch people yell in fear,” Charlotte answered. Sebastian shifted away from her and stared at her in horror. “What?” Charlotte innocently asked. “I’m sorry, I just didn’t realize that I was married to a maniac,” Sebastian commented.

"What are you saying? Let's not make jokes like that." "Do you think I'm joking?" Susanne took a step forward. As the night wind picked up, her long hair billowed around her, making her look like a ghost. Chills ran down Summer's spine. She was genuinely terrified. She had watched numerous horror movies before and dreaded such situations. As Susanne steadily drew closer, it felt like Summer was in a scene straight out of a horror movie.

Or worse? The scenarios that raced through my head were like a rerun of a horror film with each one getting scarier than the last. Was she somewhere without a signal? Had she been in an accident? Had someone done something? Then Panic struck, a chilling creeping feeling that began at my toes and quickly ascended to my chest. My breath caught in my throat and became shallow. All my mind could produce was a whirlpool of horrifying possibilities as it searched for a rational explanation—any explanation that did not involve catastrophe. The idea made the elaborate patterns on the wallpaper swim before my eyes and gave me a new wave of nausea.

" I called out whispering the last part. I was gradually losing hope, I feel like there is nowhere out. My body is weakening seconds after seconds, feeling like I won’t last long enough. "Please hel-" I trail mid-sentence when I heard a sound, it sounds like a plug was changed or something like that. The lights abruptly went on, it was just a bulb but It was much better, it was slightly less dark. Once my head lift, I trembled as my gaze traveled to my left, and instantly, horror filled me to the moment. One to another, my eyes quickly jumped to each and one of them. A couple of cold-blooded corpses.

Rain asked, eyeing the twins like they might pounce. I hesitated. “Like what?” “I don’t know! ‘Hey, you okay?’ ‘Blink twice if you’re not cursed? ’ I snorted, but the sound came out nervous. “They might not even hear us.” Rain waved a cautious hand in front of them. “Uh… hello? Earth to Rowan and Gemma?” Nothing. Not a twitch. He dropped his hand. “Okay, that’s not normal.” “No kidding.” “I’m telling you, this is how horror movies start,” Rain whispered. “Two kids staring into space, everyone ignores the signs, next thing you know, someone’s getting dragged into a mirror or eaten by shadows.”
