The room is filled with joints popping and bones cracking, creating a horrifying symphony of sounds. Sunny and Layla watch in horror, frozen in disbelief at the horrifying sight unfolding before them. Layla feels a surge of panic coursing through her veins as she cries out in fear, "What's happening to her?" Sunny, too terrified to speak, can only stare in disbelief as Hazel's convulsions worsen. The room fills with the sound of Hazel's agonized screams , echoing off the walls and intensifying the sense of dread.

But suddenly, the oppressive atmosphere hit us like a wave. The air was thick with the scent of mildew and decay. A chill ran down my spine, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that we were not alone. And then, suddenly, a blood-curdling howl shattered the silence, making us jump with fear. It was coming from behind us, and it sounded so close, so menacing, that we knew we were in trouble.

The scene at the Gables’ porch was no longer a private tragedy. The initial, piercing scream had acted like a grim summons, pulling people from their homes and their morning routines. I believe that is still true. Fear is the first and most pure of man’s experiences. It nourishes us in a way. We come to crave it.

Ava chose a horror movie but Grace was quite unsure about this because first, it was 5 in the morning which was a bad time to watch a horror movie, and second she was damn scared of these types of things. The movie stared and Ava was excited about it but Grace was covered in blankets. She screamed when the ghost appeared suddenly and scared Ava as well. She turned to look at her and found her trembling due to fear. She laid back and wrapped her arms around her.

"I don't give a damn about bad deeds in times like these!" he spat. "Jennet, get up!" Horan nudged her leg, his voice sharp with urgency.
