Love Reborn: The Boss's Love for His Wife Knows No Bounds

Love Reborn: The Boss's Love for His Wife Knows No Bounds

It was an intriguing work, but it did not conform to the fast-food culture in the market today. It was difficult for people to give a novel more than three minutes of patience. Gu Jiuci guessed that this might be the reason why the novel had not become famous for the time being.

I seriously love this but.... The grammar mistakes make it hard to read its surprising that the last chapter didn't have too many mistakes... And also I think some part was cut off.. And also the end was a cliffhanger and I don't know what to say... Anyway its an amazing novel (book) I rate it a 4/5

i love this story, female lead is strong but stays calm despite many bad guys n the male lead is so lovely, he loved her so much 😍 but i hope author will edit this story, because many misspelling, the ending seems rushed, doen't solve the problem, and there are many plot hole in the last chapter 😔

His Curvy Obsession (BWWM)

His Curvy Obsession (BWWM)

I'm not promising that though 😅. AN: I want you guys thoughts on this question, *sigh*. I'm conflicted, very conflicted on how to describe Nathaniel's character because in my book where I've written the manuscript of this book although, it's a very short story with maybe 28 chapters. I described Nathaniel as a dark lover in my written manuscript but with you guys now, I'm having second thoughts of changing him to cheesy, lovesick guy yet possessive though I've already changed him to that.

I Seduced My Hopeless Romantic Editor

I Seduced My Hopeless Romantic Editor

Then, however, it became a trend. Young ladies aged from eighteen to twenty-five loves pocket novels these days. Short stories that contain thirty to fifty thousand word counts are the best selling with other publishing companies, so we followed the trend. The criteria that we were looking for were standalone and not serializing novels. However, this is a pain in my butt because I will decide which books will be published or not. They threw all the final decisions to me, and my subordinates kept filing up my work, especially Jericho. He jerk gave me twenty-nine books to reconsider. Takeshi also gave me another fifteen books to review. The other two idiots hadn't passed me anything yet, so I

The Sassy President is my Husband

The Sassy President is my Husband

Hello everyone so when I started writing the story, I wanted it to have as cute and as fluffy scenes as possible. Throughout the time, I have tried my best to do so. But, I can only know after you all inform me. This is going to be a light novel which means it is going to go on for at least 500 chapters and I am warning you all about it beforehand. There's a lot of mysteries which are going to come up and a lot of them which would be later on solved.

Be mine forever

Be mine forever

My table was just filled with files and even more files like an endless ocean of inked papers I had to read through. If I begin reading a novel as the same speed as the files I read every day, I might be able to complete a five-hundred-page novel in less than a day; yes, these were my realistic expectations. My desk was a scattered mess, and I couldn’t even find a place to keep my coffee on it.

Elian said. "I'm nothing like a four-year-old," she said. "You both see things accurately before anyone else does," Elian said. She looked at him. "Don't be charming," she said. "I'll see through it." "I know," Elian said. "I'm doing it anyway." She almost smiled. "The novel," she said. "How close?" "Ten thousand words," Elian said. "Maybe less. The ending knows what it is. I just have to arrive at it."

Average Jane |Lesbian Story|

Average Jane |Lesbian Story|

To her dismay, Jane found herself walking down the hall to English with Lucy by her side, still talking, talking, talking. "I didn't know you were such a big reader, Jane," Lucy said, smiling at her. "I guess because your book-report books are always so short. But length isn't what matters in a book. I love a lot of short books, too. Just look at poetry. A poem can be any length. There are millions of wonderful poems that are only a few lines long. Like Emily Dickinson's poems. She can say more in two lines than most people can say in a hundred pages. What part are you up to in A Tale of Two Cities?"

The Contract Of The Story

The Contract Of The Story

He laugh. “I love you,” he says as he held my chin to make me look at him. He kissed my lips that made me smile. *** After 1 week of editing, I’m finally done with my novel. I contacted the publishing house immediately to send my whole novel to them. My novel is not that long, so my editing process didn’t take too long, plus I focused on that in order not to waste the day. The novel has 52 chapters including the prologue and epilogue.

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

Don wrote the last chapter across December. Not the full December — the last chapter was not a long piece of writing in the word-count sense. The essays had varied in length: the Thessaloniki piece had been the longest, running to nearly eight thousand words, because the argument about the encounter required the full architecture of the thesis, the counter-thesis, and the synthesis that Don had arrived at in the museum's upper gallery. The Norway piece had been shorter — five thousand words — because the argument about darkness was more concentrated, more dependent on the quality of the specific experience rather than the elaboration of a multi-part claim. The estate piece had been somewhere

Frequently Asked Questions

Novel length is one of those topics that feels straightforward until you start poking at it, and then you realize just how much it varies. There's a very common publishing industry guideline that sits around 70,000 to 100,000 words for a debut adult novel. That range has become a sort of unofficial standard, especially for genres like literary fiction, mysteries, and thrillers, where it seems to hit a sweet spot for production costs, reader commitment, and bookstore shelf expectations. Going significantly under that can sometimes signal a work is more of a novella to agents and editors, while going dramatically over can raise eyebrows about pacing and marketability for a first-time author.

Yet, as a reader, you quickly notice how genre completely reshapes those numbers. Epic fantasy and historical fiction are famous for their doorstopper volumes; it's not unusual for books in these categories to start at 120,000 words and balloon to 200,000 or more. Brandon Sanderson's 'The Way of Kings' is a famous example, sitting well over 380,000 words. On the flip side, a lot of contemporary romance or cozy mysteries might wrap up a satisfying story in a tighter 60,000 to 80,000 words. Young adult novels also often trend shorter, frequently landing between 60,000 and 80,000, though the massive success of books like the later 'Harry Potter' titles blew that ceiling wide open.

I think the 'average' is useful as a baseline for writers, but for readers, it's more about the reading experience a word count implies. A 30,000-word novella promises a fast, intense dive, while a 50,000-word novel suggests a more developed arc, and anything over 100,000 signals a world you're meant to settle into for a while. The count sets a rhythm before you even turn the first page. My own shelf has everything from slim, potent 40,000-word stories to massive tomes, and which one feels right just depends on the mood I'm in—sometimes you want a sprint, and other times you're ready for a marathon.
