Earlier, when there were only 4-5 ghouls on the wall, now there are over 20. All of a sudden, it started raining ghouls from the sky. My eyes widened in shock when I realized what it was; a body that was slightly bent down, sunken rounded eyes, fingers stretching into long sharp talons, razor-like teeth, and skin that wrapped around the bones like molten rubber—it’s a ghoul.

The soul eater sits on the floor, covered in blood and something else that I don't recognize until I open the door further and step in. Looking down, I see a disemboweled baby torn to shreds. It's in so many pieces that I can't even tell for sure what it is, except for the baby bottle half buried in the blood and intestines. Suddenly, the smell hits me and I have to bend over as I lose my supper. Sandwich spraying everywhere, even on the soul eater. She looks up at me and smiles while holding an arm bone and then begins gnawing on it.

I closed my eyes and began to breathe through the pain, hoping that with just a few moments of rest I could continue this seemingly never-ending hallway. Once again, I found myself floating away, but this time when I landed in the hospital room I didn't panic. I looked out the window and saw that it was dark outside, darker than normal from what I could tell. When I got close, I could see that someone had turned off the outside lights. But even without it, the outlines and shadows of people mulling around outside were still visible. They didn't look like they were moving as Soul Eaters had been. Soul eaters, it was amazing how the idea of that didn't seem so ridiculous or alarming now.

A woman walked into the room as everyone took cover, she glanced at the room and wondered what went wrong, she turned to leave the room when suddenly Kazu popped out in front of her. "Ah, its a Ghoul." The woman cried. She tried to run but there was nothing she could do. Kazu wasn't letting her go. "Wait." Perry yelled. She ran towards the both of them, separating them, she smiled at Kazu and looked behind her. "It's Kazu." She said. The child ran towards him and hugged him as if he were her brother

Yuto pleaded, his face desperate. "Kyoko, do you believe in ghosts?" Akiko didn't even glance at Yuto and instead turned to Kyoko, who was obviously confused. The question about ghosts was entirely unexpected. "Yeah, I believe in them," Kyoko replied indifferently. "Good. Can you exorcise one? If you can, please get rid of the ghost in front of me.
