The Silence I Broke

The Silence I Broke

I cut her off, "yeah, your family helped me. But I followed your advice and handed over everything my parents left me. I never owed you anything." *** William and I didn't change course. Francia was still the plan. It was drizzling the day we left, just enough to blur the edges. Right as we hit security, chaos. Nathan showed up—soaked, muddy, completely wrecked. "Joelle, Joelle." He grabbed my suitcase. The floor was slick—he slipped and hit the ground hard, right in front of me. "Joelle, don't leave. Please?" *** William looked like he just stepped in something nasty.

The Unbroken Circle

The Unbroken Circle

I got it open and got in. Finding shelter: check! My body was shivering, and it was hard to move. I was freezing. A quick look around the room revealed some old fishing tools and - as by some miracle - petroleum and a box of matches. I grabbed the box. Thank God, I thought with a smile. Tree matches left and even though the petroleum was almost all gone, I was used to less back home. There was no fireplace, but a broken iron cauldron. I grabbed anything that could burn, threw it in the cauldron, and lit a fire. The flames were hot and welcoming. I smiled.

The Girl Who Broke the Silence

The Girl Who Broke the Silence

The sun over Lagos burned without mercy, turning every metal roof into a sheet of fire. At the bus stop, the air quivered with exhaust fumes, impatient honks, and voices raised in the daily battle of survival. Promise stood apart from the crowd, clutching her bag tightly against her body. Her red heels pressed into the cracked pavement, the straps biting her ankles, but her chin stayed level. The words she had written the night before pulsed through her veins: Broken shoes, unbroken steps.

The Rejected Luna's Dark Gift

The Rejected Luna's Dark Gift

"What do you gain?" "Nothing. Everything." I moved to the window beside her. "I've been where you are. Broken. Controlled. Used as a weapon. Someone helped me. Now I help others. That's how it works." "What if we can't be fixed? What if we're too broken?" "Then we learn to live broken. Find strength in the cracks. Build something new from the pieces." I met her eyes. "You're not alone. None of you are. Not anymore."

Ashes of Six

Ashes of Six

“They hated me just for existing. Teachers, neighbors, even kids I went to school with. Like I was… wrong. A mistake. No matter what I did, it wasn’t enough. And then I get here, and it’s the same story all over again. Different faces, same eyes watching me like I don’t belong. Except now it’s worse, because something inside me agrees with them. Like I’m too much. Too dangerous. Too broken.” Her voice cracked on the last word, and before she could turn away, I reached out. My hand caught her chin with a restraint so gentle it startled even me. My thumb brushed the damp heat of her cheek where tears had begun to gather. “Broken?” I echoed softly. “You are not broken, Nora. You are fire barely

Ruin Me, Blackwood

Ruin Me, Blackwood

“I’ve been running for so long—from my past, from myself, from everything that scares me. Pretending I could keep it all locked away.” I watched her carefully, gauging her reaction. There was no shock. No disgust. Only quiet patience that somehow made it worse, because it reminded me she was waiting for me to open up. To let her in. “I’m broken, Amelia. Not just the usual scars people wear on their sleeves. I carry things—dark things—that I thought were buried deep enough that no one would ever find them.” My voice dropped to a whisper, raw and unsteady. “But you’ve found them anyway.”

Her Broken Alpha

Her Broken Alpha

A girl who loved cookies, hated math homework, laughed with friends, and occasionally argued with her parents about bedtime. The bridge remained stable. The realms stayed balanced. And Luna learned that being exceptional didn't mean sacrificing everything. Sometimes, the bravest thing you could do was just be yourself. Even when yourself was impossibly unique.

Alpha Atlas

Alpha Atlas

Her eyes flickered back to the past for a second, focusing a few seconds later. I used the hot glue and tape, setting to work. The result made me realize mending books was not a suitable career choice. It still looked like a tattered old book, but at least everything was held together. I had glued one of the pages on backwards, making the page numbers not quite add up. The cover had been taped back together, but was still missing chunks. The entire process filled me with the first shred of relaxation I had since coming here. I felt like I was piecing back some parts of my life. My heart was still shattered, but was being held together just like this book. The thought was comforting, that eve

Miss Nessie
Not a bad book, a few errors and gramma issues, needs to be edited. I would love to see a second book, but that probably won’t happen. The friends characters were a huge part to this book and I would love to see some short stories from their pov, there could be some really good story lines.

Each time I read your book, I say that's my favorite of all your books but this...this is very intriguing. I can't put it down honestly, now I say—I'm gonna read all of your books. It's you and I because your writing style is way more than I've ever seen anyone use before.
