He made a show of it, puffing out his lips and pretending to bawl, emitting loud, fake, hiccupping sobs.
His face was so funny that a laugh bubbled out of me.
From the sofa, the twins erupted into gleeful cackles.
“It’s not funny!” Uncle Musa insisted, playing it up, wiping imaginary tears. “I can’t stop these tears, man! It’s just so touching, how much I missed her…”
I hugged him again, tightly. “Thanks, Uncle Musa.”
“For what?”
“For being my Uncle… you’re so sweet,” I replied.
