And Cheryl pushes the history books.”

Victory arrives precisely when it’s meant to, Uncle. “I possess everything he cherishes,” I asserted. “That’s precisely the issue,” Uncle John set down his cup, fixing his gaze on me. “He knows your hand, but you know nothing about his,” he pointed out, and I looked at him intently. “Isn’t it peculiar? Remus is a brilliant man, yet he allows you to hold the upper hand,” Uncle John queried. Suddenly, I fell silent. “He’s plotting something behind your back,” Uncle Edward added, his eyes locked on me.

I can tell Uncle Leo we aren't ready yet. 'I'm sure. I don't think it will help us, but it won't hurt either.' She said. I picked up the book. It was an old, deep brown, leatherbound book with the title in gold leaf. 'Tales of Olde'. It was heavier than I expected. Uncle Leo hadn't told me the title of the story so I skimmed the contents page. None of the titles mentioned an unnamed wolf. I sighed.

Before James could respond, small footsteps sounded from the stairs. “Papa?” Ethan called out, half-asleep. James closed his eyes for a moment. “Why are you awake, sweetheart?” Ethan appeared in the living room, rubbing his eyes. His gaze landed on Harry. “Uncle?” Harry smiled reflexively. “Hi.” Emma tensed. James moved quickly, placing a hand on Ethan’s shoulder. “Come on, back to bed.” “But I want to tell Uncle,” Ethan said, turning to Harry. “I drew Uncle Harry at school too.”
