“Mommy, can we have a princess tea party now?” Emma raised an eyebrow. “Only if your dad agrees to wear the tiara this time.” Thomas groaned, slumping dramatically against the couch. “Why is it always me?” “Because you’re the funniest in a tiara,” Emma said, biting back a laugh. Lily clapped her hands. “Daddy in a tiara! Daddy in a tiara!” Thomas sighed, putting his guitar aside. “Alright, fine. But only because I love you both.” Emma disappeared into the other room, returning moments later with a pink plastic tiara. She placed it on Thomas’s head, adjusting it with a smirk. “Perfect.”
