Luka stood outside, face grim. “There’s movement near the border,” he said without preamble. Theoden tensed. “Rogues?” Luka shook his head. “Not rogues. Something else.” Selene and Theoden exchanged a glance before heading out quickly, following Luka to the border. The forest was dark, thick with mist curling through the trees. Darius was waiting with a few Silvercrest warriors when they arrived, crouched near a barely disturbed patch of ground.

Everyone stilled. “I thought Ironfang’s borders were impenetrable,” Anton said, making every eye snap to him.

Alaric sorts through the messages one-handed, keeping me in his lap. His body tenses slightly at certain reports. "Problems?" I ask. "Strange movements near the Northern borders." He sets those aside. "And some odd trade patterns with Blackthorn territory. Nothing clear but..."

The air felt heavy with unspoken things. Tessa was there too, sitting near the edge of the room. Her hair was tied back neatly, her arm still bandaged, her face calm. If she had any guilt, it didn’t show. When Ember entered, Tessa turned and smiled faintly, as though they were simply two healers meeting after a long day. “Luna,” she said softly. Ember didn’t answer. Darius stood at the head of the table. “We’ve received word from the border again. The figures returned last night, but they didn’t cross. They stayed near the east ridge, same spot as before. Whoever they are, they’re not random wanderers.”

The Great Genbu had mentioned before that his boundary could last three years, and there were still three months left. ‘I wonder if this deadline was extended when these formations merged?’ At the same time, some strong Undead warriors noticed the sudden changes in the boundary while chewing and damaging it in the Undead territory. “What happened? They haven’t made a move yet, like they know there is protection surrounding us. But, they are all growling and poised ready to pounce, like they are waiting on a signal. “Leah, we’re here. You see anything crazy? We’ve got a line of possessed hostile wolves on the outside of the border. This fight is going to be tough.” I ask her through the link, knowing she’s watching all of our movements.

He paused, turning to the screen again, using a pencil to point. “Packs were attacked here, here, and here. Outside no man’s land is the border to the bear-shifter kings' lands, which stretch right across here. “He drew an imaginary line, outlining the border that was only a few hundred miles from our borders. “Now where do you think all the exiled and lone bears go? No man’s land.” “So they are bound to meet up with rogue wolfs now and then?” Kellen asked, leaning forward. “But what do they gain by teaming up?” he asked, his brows furrowing.

Ronan is still burdened about pregnancy and fertility issues. He is in Burdak's study... still doing his previous job. After all these maps are completed, they will find it easier to patrol. Even from this map, they just found out that the moss forest…the haunted…turned out to be theirs…so why did the forest dwellers interfere so much and often chased them away? All borders are clearly visible..even free areas can be seen more clearly. Burdak will enter into a new agreement with Nero... concerning the security agreement of the two packs, Asulpen and Buthak.
