I called again, moving toward the door but I got no answer. This guy is not only a nerd, he is also weird and somehow crazy. I wonder how I was going to cope with him when I joined his book club. He goes away while I'm staring at everyone, trying to keep myself busy with my thoughts even though I feel out of place. He returned with a canned drink; we found a spot to see and finally sat. I suck at starting up a conversation; instead, I focus on scrolling through my phone while Daniel discusses it with the rest of the people sitting with us; it's a table of four. Then everywhere goes silent; the author of the book goes to the stage, and behind the stage is a projector displaying the book with animation that accompanies it. Titled, “When I broke free”It's a middle-aged woman, possibly in her late 40s.She begins.

Feeling dissatisfied, the man gave me a few hard kicks and spat at my face. "Looks like you like things the hard way, huh?" I fell to the floor like a heavy sack of potatoes. At that moment, I heard my phone ringing. I looked over to the dressing table where my phone was. I crawled toward my phone, but someone grabbed my foot and dragged me back. In my struggles, I cried out, "Let me go! Henry won't forgive you if he finds out about this!" As soon as I said that, the men burst into laughter.

I know something is going to happen. After half the day has passed and I managed to get my locker cleaned out from that god awful gunk and got my books replaced, I make my way back to my locker and switch out book for what I need next, when I put in the combo numbers for my locker I am a bit hesitant to open it again, but when I do I quickly jump back and when nothing happens I release the breath I was holding. When I am sure nothing is going to happen, I get the books I need for my last class for the day and realize I’m almost late, so I make my way to class.

His voice was smooth and windy, locked around her like the coiling of smoke. “ You can never be trusted, they would always see you as an endangered person, a dangerous force locked within the confine of their consciousness. Everyone says you're the mystery son of a tycoon." ​The irony was a bitter pill. "I'm nobody's heir," I said, my tone turning cold. "I'm just a student."
