Josie POV Sam and I had gone back to our room in the Pack house after the first day of waiting. Jack and Lucas would not leave so we brought clothes and food for them. We were into day three of waiting for some type of movement from either Sarah or Daniel. Nothing had happened so far.

Getting to the down floor, it was filled to the brim. Almost everyone was down for breakfast. Sam sighted the couple from her table and strolled towards them. "Are you both lost or what? You are looking like lost children." Alex shook her head and Josh smiled at her. "No, we are not lost. We were surprised to find this crowd here unlike in the afternoon," Josh said on behalf of the two of them. "Well I got a table and it will serve three of us. Hi, Alex."

Allie POV Josh remained unconscious all night and most of the following day. He roused periodically without fully waking, moaning and drenched in sweat. Samson made him a broth with a few ingredients he said would help get the poison out of his body quicker, but getting it into Josh had been difficult when he barely woke. We’d ended up slowly dribbling it into his mouth and hoping that he wouldn’t choke. During the night, Samson had let me rest and kept watch over Josh. I was utterly exhausted. The physical trek, combined with the emotional energy I’d spent, plus my own brush with the boggart’s poison, was a lot to handle.
