I sigh a little, and shake my head as I look at Adam. “Very well.” He says, nodding. “We will hold off on making a decision until we wrap this up then. I’d say we can hold an event for this on the full moon.” He turns to say the last part to Serena, almost like he was asking her permission. She nods in agreement, and he turns back. “Yes, the full moon is when this will all take place. So make sure you prepare yourselves, men.” He looks at both Sebastian and Killian then, who both nod in agreement. “We’re done for the day then.” Adam nods and everyone starts talking amongst themselves as soon as he sits back down and starts whispering to Serena.

Lady Maurie, whom I hadn't seen since I arrived at the pack, was standing off to the side, her expression unreadable. Suddenly, an older man's voice boomed through the crowd, making me jump. "Welcome, pack members, to the Moon Ceremony!" he announced. His voice echoed throughout the clearing, sending shivers down my spine.
