I turned to the second page and continued reading aloud: CHAPTER ONE - HISTORY OF THE MOON The history of the gods and goddesses of the moon spans various cultures and mythologies. Selene (Greek Mythology): Selene is the Greek goddess of the moon, often depicted as a beautiful woman with a crescent moon on her head, riding a chariot across the night sky. She is the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, and the sister of Helios (the sun god) and Eos (the dawn goddess). Selene had many romantic liaisons, the most famous being her love for the mortal shepherd Endymion, whom she put into an eternal sleep to keep him forever youthful.

As Apollo and Jolene stand outside the gates to the moon, their hands entwined in a silent vow of solidarity, a sense of peace washes over them. The chaos and turmoil that once threatened to consume their world have finally subsided, replaced by a newfound tranquility that permeates the air. Shailyn poked her arm. "Why are you rouse, pup?" "Do you know what a blue moon is?" She consulted, staring at Shailyn, watched as the fairy nodded. "A red moon represent the rise and fall of the Lycan Alpha King, a blue moon represent the rise of the King's Queen, Luna of all magical creatures" Skylar fluttered her eyes, frowning in complication. "I don't get it"

Alpha Dillon interrupts Brody, “Rumour has it that the Moon Goddess walks the Earth on the eve of the Blood Moon meeting the Wolf Moon” I remembered the story from my childhood, a wolf moon was a full moon in the month of January, whilst a blood moon is once every nineteen years, the odds of both of them happening at the same time was rare and when it does it creates a blood supermoon that allows the Moon Goddess to cross from her realm to ours, gracing us with her presence. As Alpha Dillon continued to explain the rumour, I had a sudden realisation, TJ was created under the supermoon.

That was as far as the similarities went. There were three moons in the Fae realm, each one bigger than the next. The largest was much bigger than our moon in the human realm. Each had a phase of their own, and I briefly wondered what effect that might have on the ocean’s. The stars I could see through the thick branches and leaves were incredibly bright and beautiful; all shapes and sizes, hanging there like ripe fruit on a tree.

"We will face it together. Whatever comes, we will face it together." She leaned into him. "I know. It just feels like so much. The council, the pack, Varya, the prophecy, Aldrian. I do not know where to start. I do not know what to do first." Kael wrapped an arm around her. "You start where you are. Right now...This moment. You do not have to solve everything today. You just have to take the next step." Sena brought them tea and sat across from them, her grey eyes thoughtful. "The prophecy speaks of the twin moons aligning. That means there is a specific night. Everything will come to a head then."

Aele says to the attendant. "Mother Aele, I honestly feel like the best way to find out when and how the Moon was stolen would be to speak to the guards who stood watch over the moon for the past 14 days." He says wisely. "Why 14 days though?" Another attendant asks. "I.. I.. say 14 days… be… because it takes 14 days for the moon goddess to go into a coma if anything happens to the moon." The attendant stutters shyly. "He is quite right, Mother Aele! According to the Book of the Moonicles, the moon goddess shall fall into a deep, unnatural sleep if the moon is absent for the space of 14 days." Darlene supports directly.

Tasha bumps shoulders with me and we look at each other and laugh. "Oh Tash, you love it and you know it." She sighs and nods her head as we reach the group of warriors. OK groups of four today, partner up and then pick another couple. Titans voice booms around the group It isn't always a one on one fight when our enemy attacks, so no point sparring one on one all the time. As we all know attacks, ambushes etcetera. Are never a one on one kind of deal and we want to be ready, to learn to handle ourselves against more than one opponent, this is all part of our new schedule. High Moon is now the biggest werewolf pack and the only pack to be ruled by not one but two strong Alpha's and a badass
