THE BURNT FACE LUNA
His hand was on the small of my back, and the heat from his palm was soaking through my dress, making my heart race.
When we finally got into the hotel room, holy Moon, it screamed luxury. It was nothing like the creepy, drafty room I had pictured in my head. There were plush black carpets, floor-to-ceiling windows that looked out over the city, and a vibe that was both dark and expensive. I bet the windows were ultraviolet-treated so it was safe for vampires to be near them during the day.
But the thing that caught my eye the most was the bed. It was massive, draped in heavy black silk sheets, and it was practically begging to be ruined.
