By the time the sun rises, I’m a quarter of the way through the book, up to the part where the blood god gave Asmodeus the eight, unbreakable vampire laws. Despite my best efforts, I fall asleep before I can read all the laws, but the first on sticks with me. *A vampire can not claim another’s bride as his own.

a loud crash echoed through the room we were in, everyone screamed, it was a vampire, “Well, well, well, what do we have here?” He said, Phoenix hid me behind him, “A wedding? How sweet. Who’s the lucky bride?’ I stayed behind Phoenix until I was grabbed; I screamed, causing Phoenix to turn around to see what was happening, “I have the bride.” The man said,

He replied casually and left. I was left in shock after hearing what the vampire just told me. Sure, he mentioned me being his bride from the other side. But I didn't expect that the wedding would happen right away. I just woke up from traveling with the other side and drinking blood for the first time. It looks like I don't have a choice but to wear this white dress since I'm at the mercy of that vampire. So I take off my clothes and change into a bridal dress. It's a perfect fit and I bet it looks good on me. So I look for a mirror but I don't see any inside this room.

The bridegroom wasn't a simple guy from our countryside like my sister preferred, she always wanted a simple life where she would be managing the household and looking after kids while her husband earned their livelihood. Yes, it does sound like a human marriage still, but believe me, there is a distinction between both. So I believe I should put the poor woman out of her misery. The whole place was decorated giving it a dreamy look , smiling faces, little kids watching the bride as she walked down the stairs ( Imagine her walking) which each step she lost something that belonged to her . Her dream , her family, her happiness and lastly her old life . The pavillion was set up in a grand manner where both the priest and the groom was waiting for the bride . All the things which were necessary were decorated in a plate which had vermilion , mangal sutra to signify this holy nuptial unholy for the bride . As she sat behind Drake she couldn't help but notice that the man looked so happy as if he was not forcing her at all . Tearing her eyes away she composed herself
