SARAH'S POV I sat there in the cold dark alley for quite a while and not even a rat passed by, I was starting to get scared when I heard faint laughter, more like a chuckle from afar. The sound became louder and clearer. It was no longer just the sound of laughter, I could now hear footsteps approaching. The closer they came the clearer their voices, they sound like nice people, I should probably ask them for help. What will I say though, I can't possibly tell them that I'm a vampire princess who came here through a porthole and woke up, then blacked out, then woke up again in a place where I was stabbed with needles and driven away by the smell of blood and somehow ended up here with no one

“All I know is Ichiro’s going to kill me after not emailing the program he’s asking from me.” Xian pouted her full lips, looking adorable at Aarush as she tapped his cheek lightly. “It’s not your fault. It so happens that a vampire in our group wasn’t willing to take the risk.” Lucilla scoffed, but she did not say anything. “You’re not touching your drinks,” Xian lifted an eyebrow, noticing her. “Don’t worry, Lucilla. Whoever owned that blood willingly donated it in exchange for cash.” She twitched her lips and then smiled at her. Lucilla’s face lit up in delight as she extended her hand to Xian.

Willow stared at him for awhile as he kept his eyes away. "Is there something I can do? Get you water or...?" Willow paused. She was throwing options out there, but Dante was no ordinary being. He is a Vampire. She had very little knowledge of the creatures, which was her fault for not being as prepared to possibly deal with them, but how would she have known she would be in the same room as one?

I didn’t want to make him sad. I was also left to think about myself. I needed to find a new mate. The nice thing about us vampires is that we could choose our own mates, if our given mates were not fitting or we got tired of waiting for them. We would have to do a blood bond by drinking each other's blood and then we were mated. The blood sharing would connect us and afterwards one wouldn't even be able to tell us apart from true mates. The only thing was that we could not have children with our self-chosen mates.

Clementine POV "Listen, students of Vampire High, welcome to National Vampire High Day year 29768." Chairman's introduction that we are at the top of the stage with some board of Chairman. Everyone applauded so I just joined. "Today, we're going to celebrate it. But first, we the board Chairman of Vampire high wants to say Thank you to the Vaughn family." The Chairman said that's why everyone looked at our behavior. Wrong, they Fin turned out. The twins just smiled with Creed except for Fin who had no emotion.

He came closer to me, pulling some of my hair out of my face as he continued, “She is also chubby, with plenty of blood - perfect for a blood slave.” Alpha Axel hummed in response, not saying any more words. Though I couldn't open my eyes to see him, I could feel his piercing gaze on me. Then, to my dismay, he finally spoke up, his deep voice firm and commanding. “I'll buy her!” he declared, his words echoing through the clearing.

Cassie joked, and he chuckled before sitting on the couch opposite her. “And I see you’re still hot,” He replied, winking at her. “Never happening.” She did not miss a beat. “I came here for a reason, and that is most definitely not to suck your d*ck.” “You still can if you want, though.” He wiggled his brows. The blonde girl rolled her eyes. “I’m being serious, Chad. I don’t have much time. I was bitten by a vampire, and I’d rather drown myself than become one.”

“Go ahead, Chloe.” Chloe launched into the story, starting with her deal with Hunter and her first experience of someone touching her. The room went silent for a beat. “Too graphic?” she asked. They all burst out laughing. Callum shot her a look. “Honey, we feel deeper than any creature, good, bad, and everything in between. Graphic? Please. Tomorrow, we’ll introduce you to vampire lust.” Chloe raised an eyebrow. “Care to elaborate?” “Don’t sweat it,” Callum said. “No one’s touching you. You can just… enjoy.”

Vampire bloodlines were rare, and there had always been a strong emphasis on their descendants, so it would be odd if she were. The girl appeared to be very young, yet she had suffered abuse, judging by the scars on her arms and legs. I lifted the girl into my arms and decided to take her to see a doctor. Vampire wounds usually healed quickly, so why were hers so difficult to heal? I gently sat her in the passenger seat and closed the car door.

A blade flashed through the rain-dark chapel and struck the wall beside my face. I stepped inside with white water burning around my hands. Shigure stared at me. “Ayame.” The vampire pulled back his hood. Cael Varrow smiled. “You really must stop following dangerous men at night.” Scene 98: The Enemy Contact I looked from Cael to Shigure. Rain tapped against the broken altar between them. “You.” Cael’s smile faded. “Disappointed?” “You stabbed your brother.” “He was being difficult.” “You built the blood chamber.” “I found it.”
