He was like a wind when he went near them, you could not even notice him with your bare eyes when he does that, it was one of his abilities as a VAMPIRE. The criminal and the victim were shocked by his sudden appearance, they didn’t notice him. The woman cried, she was glad that someone came to help her, but she was still worried because she could only see a thin yet tall young man, she wondered if she could beat the guy who was thrice bigger than him, especially that he has no weapon. “How dare you disturb me when I’m not even finished and just starting to feel good,.,’’ he glared at him as he let go of the woman’s neck.

Then suddenly, the thick ancient characters quickly retreated, burrowing into the wrists of the two people standing here, a human and a blood-sucking demon. Selina touched the mark on her wrist. The scarlet mark came to life, then the red disappeared, becoming a dreary black. Her pale skin highlights the image of a pair of tangerine swans. Selina looked at the mark on her hand in horror, and in the vampire's silver-gray eyes, there was an indescribable surprise.

My back stiffened as the last bit of the picture was now erased. Turning slowly, my eyes looked up at a vampire staring at me. He was handsome, just like every other vampire here. Tall, with a slim athletic build. His face could have been carved from stone how sharp it was. Even with the youthful appearances of vampires, his face held a story.

Vampires craved the blood of every other creature but their own, and the blood of werewolves were the most enticing to them. Seeing his wound made something clench in my heart, an unconscious feeling that I couldn't control. It hurt as if the wound was on me and not him.

His blood-stained frame left a hideous imprint on my window and left a crimson trail on my shirt as our bodies collided in his reckless descent. I whipped my head around, locking eyes with him as he let out a guttural groan and shattered the arrows embedded in his flesh with a swift crack. My sharp eye immediately identified the arrows as the very same ones my parents used for hunting in our pack, expertly crafted to target vampires with their deadly poisoned tips. Our pack witch had concocted a potent potion that not only paralyzed vampires, but could prove fatal if left untreated beyond a day.
