"You are now officially student of Vampire high, welcome to Vampire High. You're journey begins here." ~~~ I smiled as I opened the door of my room and almost gasped as I was exposed to a large room, as in too big! Living room, kitchen Then there are two more hallways. It's a house and not a room. The interior theme is black and the furniture theme is white. There are paintings hanging on the wall. "Roommate." I looked at the one who's spoken. I saw the woman leaning against a wall where I could pass. Long black hair that I think is knee-length, black lipstick, black eyeliner, black nails, and is wearing a black t-shirt and black pants.

My parents were already standing where they normally did for meetings and I searched for Adrian but didn't see him. Oh no. Sarah and I struggled to push ourselves to the front and we were able to. I could see 5 of our hunters use extended hardened metal cords to hold the vampire out. He was binded by his arms and legs, his clothes torn. He had very pale skin, almost unnaturally so. His facial features were sharp and gave him a mysterious and attractive look. He had high cheekbones that made his face look sculpted and chiseled. His jawline was angular, defined, and stood out, adding to his vampire-like appearance.

The red in the glass made me wanted to puke as I scrunched my nose and the words which I have been keeping in my mind finally escaped my lips. "How good it would have been if I wasn't born a vampire..."

One by one, they stepped into the moonlight, revealing their gaunt, hungry faces. “Ambush!” Dane shouted, drawing his blade. The vampire that lunged at me moved like a shadow, its body unnaturally fast and silent. Its sunken face twisted with hunger, revealing jagged, yellowed fangs dripping with saliva. Its skin was sickly pale, stretched tightly over sharp cheekbones, making it look more like a walking corpse than a living creature. Its crimson eyes burned with an unnatural glow, locked onto me with deadly intent.

The Vampires were giving consorts and even a modern living environment. So why are they so vile? I chew on my bottom lip, all the stress becomes focused on the lip currently between my teeth. I chew on it so hard that a small cut pierces through the supple flesh. I wince and allow my tongue, run across it. The coppery tang of blood met my taste buds. Seconds later, Caius is back by my windowside. “Did you get any lurkers?” I ask, rolling down the window. He doesn't answer me. He is still like a statue. Then his eyes rake my face until they narrow at my bottom lip.

one of the bloodsuckers growled, distracted. It was now or never. Lily launched herself from the edge of the hayloft with a menacing growl, landing on top of one of the vamps. Her jaws snapped, teeth ripping and tearing into deadened vamp flesh. The vampire let out a shrieking hiss. But with surprise on her side, Lily sank her canines into the vampire’s jugular, filling her mouth with a nasty iron taste. She ripped her muzzle back, taking out the vampire by its throat.

He pulled me closer. "You're so stubborn." I stiffened when his tongue brushed against my soft spot. His breathing got heavier against my neck, as if he was hesitating for a minute. A sharp stabbing pain jolted in my neck as his fangs sunk inside and just as I let out a cry, a hand covered my mouth gently, his hand securely tightening around my waist. I stopped moving, closing my eyes shut and arching my back a little. It doesn't matter whether it was Alex or any other vampire, it still hurts like hell. I let out a gasp when he finally pulled away.

This pull is strange, scary but amazing. The problem now is, how do I keep the most stubborn Vampire to ever exist safe without having a fight with her?

When I glance up to the nurse, I say proudly, "This one I am calling Eric the second." She turns and smiles at me with those deep red lips and a thought runs through my head about something I remembered. Vampires are pale in comparison, and they also have lips that are crimson because they are stained by the blood of their victims. Looking back down at my pup, fear starts to ebb in the back of my head as I realize that I am in the company of our mortal enemies.
