One of the younger pack warriors, a hot headed male named Derek, ignored my command. He shifted into wolf form and charged at the nearest soldier. Dr. Vex didn't even flinch. She pressed a button on a device at her wrist. A high pitched sonic pulse erupted from the soldier's weapon. The sound was agonizing, pitched specifically to target supernatural hearing. Derek collapsed mid charge, whimpering, unable to complete his shift. His body flickered between human and wolf, trapped in a painful half state.

Richard approached her and he rubbed her head trying to calm her down. “Relax, Sonya. I won’t hurt you. I just want to mate you, so you can deliver a birth of a heir for me or if you are too stubborn, I could take your blood and create my own soldiers from the blood of wolf and vampires…” He beamed and hypnotized Sonya with his shining dark blue eyes. Sonya heard the bumping sounds from some of the locked chambers along the corridor. Some of those vampires bumped themselves to push the locked door and open it.

AVA'S POV “For a queen you are, you're getting a bit too comfortable with these humans,” Rowan whispered, his breath tickling my skin and his voice husky and laced with a hint of warning. My gaze narrowed, eyes flashing red with a hint of danger as I took in his words. “And what makes you think so, my love?” I purred, my voice dripping with sweetness as my fingers trailed his bare chest down below to his hard member. Of course we were lying naked in all our glory, skin flawless yet had a pale color to it, and this was absolutely normal being vampires.

SARAH'S POV I sat there in the cold dark alley for quite a while and not even a rat passed by, I was starting to get scared when I heard faint laughter, more like a chuckle from afar. Kevin staggered, his hands reflexively covering his ears. His 'Level 3 Synthetic Buff' gave him physical strength, but it did not make him immune to sonic attacks. "Argh! What is this?!" Kevin roared, his protein pistol wavering. "That's a modified version of the 'Sugar Disintegration Sonic Wave,' Kevin!" Riska shouted, her voice firm.

The elder vampire turned around, with the gun still in his hand, and pulled the trigger. Mason's eyes widened and he gasped as the vervain bullet pierced through his skin and became lodged in his chest. He staggered back and fell to the ground, unmoving. Harley screamed as Demitri pulled the trigger two more times to triple the dosage of vervain; making it impossible for Mason to break through.
