“Lost, are we?” “You go no further,” I snarled, stepping forward. “You are out of position, wolf-child. And out of your depth.” His gaze swept over us, counting, assessing. “Your Alpha plays his games at the bridge. He will return to ashes.” He didn’t wait. He gave a slight nod. The vampires moved. It wasn’t like the stories. There was no chaotic rush. It was a silent, lethal blur. They didn’t howl. They just appeared, right in front of us.

She could practice fighting with her brother when he was free. She thought of going back. From afar she could sense three unknown vampires among her family. She increased her pace to reach the castle in time for dinner. When she opened the door to the dining room, she was very surprised to see three vampires staring at her. There was a woman who was of her mother's age and a girl who seemed older than her and beautiful and lastly a boy who seemed Kyson's age. He had blonde hair and sharp features and good-looking for his age. He seemed dangerous but Ingrid could not help but felt drawn towards him.

A voice said, it had the same bass as the one that had just killed but it was a lot more authoritative. “That scent…” The blood-soaked vampire thought to itself, the man that had just spoken was a fellow vampire like him but this scent felt familiar. Stepping into the moonlight from the shadows, what came into light was a blonde-haired vampire with crimson-red eyes and a very attractive face. “I know you!” The vampire that killed Ethan blurted out but his calm expression was broken into one of fear.

"Arraa. Come here." Arra was currently checking a small passage that she saw when she heard a deep and cold voice calling out her name. Her eyes widened and a smile plastered on her face. Finally, someone came here to let her out of this scary place. So she turns around with a smile on her face but only to find out that a scary tall man was standing at her back and staring at her. The man was so tall that she had to look up to see his face. His eye was red and has a dark circle on it. He also has pointed fangs on his mouth and it looks very scary. He wears a long dark coat that covers his whole body. Arra screamed at the top of her lungs and quickly cover her face with her two shaking hands.

"That is Beulah. She is our ancestor. She has been the only human to rebel against vampires in history. You are her blood; that's why you were chosen." Everything was not making sense yet to me. "So, what are you suggesting?" "Lord Ralph is the ruler of the vampires and the most brutal vampire in history. Here, take this book." He slid a book towards me. "Beulah researched enough about vampires. She wrote down everything she found out. Their weaknesses, their strengths, everything you need to know about them." "Are you saying I will have to go to this Lord Ralph's castle in the capital and start fighting him or what?"

He licked at the blood on his lips, his fingers tearing through his hair. Zurie hurriedly rushed to the helpless girl that breathed unsteadily, helping her to her feet. “If anyone hears about this, I'll kill both of you myself.” Drusilla snarled a warning at them Zurie nodded, lifting the girl out of the room in record time. “Drusilla,” “Draven. What has come over you?” When she moved closer to him he held unto her hands, pulling her to himself while she studied him. His displeasure evident on his face.

I said, narrowing my eyes at him. “They are incredibly stealthy and because they constantly feed off both humans and animals, they have all sorts of different scents that throw even the oldest vampires off. They hide in the shadows, and they only come out when they know they won’t be detected. But if they do have to come out, they blend in with humans fairly well,” Joseph explained.

Helena cursed. The woman ran in the direction of the flash into the forest. Helena had time to see if the flash resembled a human. So he immediately thought that it was a vampire. After running far enough, Helena felt exhausted and finally stopped chasing the vampire. "Damn it!" Helena tried to take a deep breath because her lungs were burning from running fast. However, Helena heard something. Helena focused her mind and prepared to take the dagger from inside her clothes. When Helena turned around, she found no one. Helena checked the surroundings again, but still, no one was there. She also didn't hear any more voices. It was as if everything was quiet again leaving her standing there.

Many wear crosses around the necks and many carry stakes along with them. The traditional story of vampires starts with Vlad the Impaler,(also known as Count Dracula ), a ruler who killed people in the most horrific ways. He was cursed by a priest to never find peace even after death. After he died in a war, he returned to his palace as someone who was neither dead nor living. The traditional story says that Van Helsing killed Vlad the Impaler by first finding out where he slept and then putting a stake through the heart. The final step involves chopping off the head and putting garlic in the mouth.
