"How?" His eyes flickered with something close to hesitation before he spoke again. "The bond between us... it’s not just a connection. It’s more than that. It’s power. It’s ours, yours and mine. But right now, it’s still unstable. You don’t understand it fully, but you need to. If we’re going to survive what’s coming, you need to learn how to control it. To control us."
