Seraphina’s POV I sat at the only table in the cold, empty room of an old building in Santa Fe, my gaze zeroed into the distance, my thoughts running wild. This was the place I’d chosen as the meet-up joint for Aric and I. According to him, the plan was that he shows up, sets my brother free in the air, and I leave with him. No problems. No casualties.
