[Xavier’s POV] I knocked repeatedly on her door with so much force and aggression, as I looked around carefully to ensure that I wasn’t seen by anyone. “Yeah, who’s there?” a sleepy Veronica asked as she unlocked the door and stepped outside, rubbing her eyes as she yawned. “Veronica, I need to speak with you,” I stated. “Speak to me about what?” she asked in a calm voice then opened her eyes wider to realise that it was me. “Alpha Xavier, what are you doing here?” she inquired.
