Versatile Mage Wiki Novels & Stories

She slapped her hand down on a page and began to read off of it. “The ability to wield Spirit magic is the defining character of a Mage though, their species is not. Most Mages are in fact human, contrary to the belief that only Dhampirs can be Mages. Whilst humans cannot train to become Alchemists, some humans possess the natural ability of Spirit magic..” her smiled grew into a full grin as she continued to read from the page. “Natural born, human mages can be identified by their unique spirit markings, as well as a natural affinity to be able to wield elemental, light and spirit magic.” She stopped reading and looked up to meet Seraphina’s eyes, Seraphina frowned at Helga. “I don’t unders

The nine stood around the circular table that he had once hidden under with Layana, it felt like so long ago, a tiny smile crossed his lips as he reminisced on their night together, it had only been a few hours since he had seen her, but he missed her already. “This is a very dangerous game my king,” Adantero the Metal Mage said, his grey eyes sharp, he was a man in his mid-40s. “One that we must play, what do you know about the ability of the Dark Lord?” Evaan asked them, “The spell to check If he possesses an ability will not work,” Caylen the Water Mage spoke, his pale blond hair falling in front of his pale blue eyes. Gabriel the Fire Mage nodded; he was a man in his early 50s.

“Connected?” “They have a mind mage,” Gyra answered him in her stead. Kilvic’s head swiveled instantly. Mind mages were extremely rare among humans, to have an active mind mage as a student in the academy spoke volumes on potential. He took into account the twelve girls that were not there. None of the first years could’ve been the mind mage so it reduced the number to nine. It didn’t help. Mind mages had dominant characteristics. Like other categories of mages, they were stereotyped. The most dominant characteristics were introverted tendencies as well as manipulative tendencies. They also tended to stay away from combat situations. Tacticians, they were often called on the battlefield. In

“The mages?” “Yes,” Elara nodded. “They are known for healing that goes deeper than the flesh. My sister’s daughter is a powerful mage, a Seer. She can see the movements of the soul before the body even moves. She will be of great help in the coming war.” “We will wait for them,” Kael said. Once the business was done, Kael didn't lead me back to the castle. Instead, he took a side path that wound deeper into the ancient forest surrounding the Blackthorn fortress.

I keep doing that and get bored. "Sorcerer skills (jobs similar to mage) usually have shields, elemental magic, healing and time stops. Hmm, try them all!" I was so excited that not giving up on me and fainting a few times paid off. Maybe if I couldn't see through this status and healing magic, I would have given up already. "Barrier! Ohh you can use other magic like this. Fire ball!" I create a barrier and a fireball which I detonate in it. There was no sound of explosion let alone leaking of fire out.

I thought about it for a moment, I wondered how far news must have spread for creatures to travel that far to come here just to watch. I wasn't going to worry about that, but I was happy to know "Is that all?" I asked her. "Miss Persephone has been known to be a...cheat. She has ways of making you do things you do not want to do. I hear that this challenge would be a fight of sorts. Miss Persephone is a skilled fighter in all aspects of martial arts. And her wolf abilities are also one of the best here" she continued. Aya next to her immediately pinched her and she winced, apparently she was not supposed to say that.

“It looks kinda gross.” “This weisel will allow almost unrestricted access to all your magic regardless of type. Most weisels only allow certain branches of spells to be used, hence the need for multiple weisels needing to be carried if the spell caster is skilled in many branches of magic,” Kiri said, frowning at Kealy slightly. “I have been told by a few, who are much more learned than me on this topic, that is ‘gross thing’ will last through the heavy cost of devasting magic that would instantly burn one out if it were of less quality. It is only mere speculation as to their origin and location to even see one, let alone capture one.”

When they saw me, they looked like they wanted to run but couldn't. "It's going to be okay," I said delicately. Then to Sera, "What are you doing?" A look of panic crossed Sera's face before her eyes rolled back inside her head, and they were replaced with twin pools of red, like blood. "Sera isn't here right now," she said, and my light was extinguished. "I am Mizrabel, a sorceress from the land of Polonias. With her longing for friends and for power, this child was easy to coerce into wakening me. Now everyone in the land will pay, especially you. If you dare, come for me, and we will see who is meant to rule the land." The voice, which sounded nothing like Sera's, cackled and was gone.
