I noticed some red bruises on my back and arm last week, and at first, I brushed it off as maybe bumping into something without realizing. But when they didn’t fade after a few days, I got curious. Turns out, bruises can show up for all sorts of reasons—like minor injuries you forget about, or even pressing too hard against a desk edge while working. I’ve also heard that certain medications or vitamin deficiencies (like low iron) can make you bruise more easily.
Then I remembered hauling groceries the other day and knocking my arm against the car door. It didn’t hurt much then, but sure enough, that’s where one of the bruises is. Sometimes our bodies react slower than we think. If they stick around weirdly long or keep happening without cause, though, it might be worth checking with a doctor just to rule out anything sneaky like clotting issues.
