I stumbled into Jori stories completely by accident after a 'Victorious' rewatch last fall. The canon leaves them in such an ambiguous, charged place, and that's where the good fics really dig in.

You'd think the big ones would have them all, but honestly, 'Victorious' Jori feels weirdly scattered across platforms right now. I mean, I still check FanFiction.Net sometimes out of habit, and the classic fics from 2011-2014 are all there, but the tags and categorization are a mess. It's a lot of wading through to find the good ones. Archive of Our Own is where most of the newer, polished stuff lives these days. That's the heart of it for me—the victor isn't the one with the louder life; it's the one who finally gets to stop performing.

Sometimes the authors nail this subtle power shift where Rory, by just being her stubborn, principled self, becomes the anchor. Jo's victory is hollow if it means losing that. The common theme I keep seeing is that winning the fight, the argument, the career clash, means nothing compared to winning a permanent spot in each other's orbit. It's less 'I conquered you' and more 'I'm yours, you idiot, now deal with it.' They just frame it with really specific, tactile details, like Jo noticing Rory's shampoo smell on her hoodie or Rory secretly keeping a tabloid photo of Jo's first big performance.
