The Mafia Kings Want their Woman Back

The Mafia Kings Want their Woman Back

He followed me into the living room and I reached for two glasses to pour bourbon into. I wasn’t much of a drinker. But this encounter called for it. “I’ve received reports that Cross’ men are still hiding out. However I’ve gotten hold of one of his VIP clients. He’s got a hideout somewhere underground. A club.” “That much has already been figured out,” I replied to him. “But the question is WHERE he is, and where he’s kept her. That’s what that assassin of yours is trying to find out, remember?” I took two large gulps of the bourbon and felt the glare of green eyes on my jaw.

The Villainess With No Happy Endings

The Villainess With No Happy Endings

I look around and notice that a wall in the hallway looked rather weird. I approached it slowly and pushed against the uneven wall. When I did that the wall opened right away and I immediately coughed at the dusty air that escaped from the wall. After the dust slowly settles I look into the dark space of a hidden room I just found. I couldn’t see well into the room so I decided to use a new spell that appeared in my book. This spell was tenebris oculi (dark eyes) which allowed me to be able to see into dark areas as if it was filled with light. I slowly entered the room and looked around.

FATE’S RECKLESS GAMES : ENTANGLED with the Alpha king.

FATE’S RECKLESS GAMES : ENTANGLED with the Alpha king.

“I rejected her. She’s wanted to hurt Celine since the moment she saw her in my room. I saw it in her eyes. That wasn’t heartbreak, that was hatred.” I turned to the map spread across the villa table, the inked lines crisscrossing like veins. If she used a cloaking spell, she couldn’t have gone far, not without using the Old Tunnels. The ones we sealed off two years ago for a reason. Unless she unsealed them. “She took her underground,” I said, my voice heavy with dread and determination, the pieces clicking into place like a death knell. “To the crypt beneath the west ridge. That’s where she’s hiding.”

The Mark You Hide

The Mark You Hide

Whoever had built this room had taken the same idea and made it meaner. I ran my fingers along the edge where wall met floor, pushing, tapping, feeling for seams. Nothing by the bed. Nothing near the fireplace. Nothing under the table. Then, beside the door, my fingertips brushed metal. I went still. A small tag was embedded behind the baseboard, tucked where most people would never look. It was dark, flat, and etched with the crescent crossed by three slashes. My stomach sank. Signal-kill. Bond interference. Second lock.

My Mate Gave My Life-Saving Cure to His Ex

My Mate Gave My Life-Saving Cure to His Ex

“Voss may be heading for a hidden war vault beneath the residence. Elias Venn confirmed its existence.” Rowan’s face tightened at the name. “Elias is alive?” Mara said, “Barely.” For the first time, grief crossed Rowan’s expression. “He was listed among the honored dead.” “He was listed wrong,” Mara said. The Alpha closed his eyes briefly. When he opened them, he looked older. “Find the vault.” The entrance was not in the basement. That would have been too obvious. We found it in the old moon chapel, behind a stone relief of the first Alpha kneeling before the Moon Goddess. The carving looked pious until Caleb noticed the healer symbol hidden under the altar had been carved upside down.

The Alpha's Regret

The Alpha's Regret

I withdrew my gaze and turned to see Evie staring at me with a worried expression. “What were you looking at?” She asked, and I lowered my gaze and stared at the vase. This happened again. I lifted my gaze to her again. “Tell me, where did the informant find Malakai's hideout?” I asked. Evie stared at me for the longest time with her lips pursed. The look in her eyes seemed to be asking if anything was wrong. “Far east, almost closer to the lower town. There is a small hideout there with trees surrounding it.”

The Tale of A Villainess

The Tale of A Villainess

After our eleventh destination, we decide to think things through again. "We have checked almost all of the least expected areas. Why do we see absolutely no progress at all?" Sir Xu frowns, "Perchance.. we have to check the obvious places. After all, if you want to hide a treasure, put it in plain sight. Then no one will see it." Scholar Li's brows furrow, "Sir Xu, what do you mean by that?" "Well, Scholar Li, if you want to hide a leaf, wouldn't it be best if you hide it in a forest?"

Damn, I cried because of this book😢😭 But the ending......the author leaves us our own imagination about the ending. This is the best book I've read so far which made me cry and laugh. Nice scenes, nice characters, nice plot. Overall, it's an excellent story. Thank you so much, author😍😘💗💖

This was very well written. No unnecessary and prolonged details. I think my only wish would be an epilogue that contained some more details wrapping up a few things about what happens in the future. I loved this book. I really did.

The Villainess Reached The End Of The Story

He knew that doing this meant betraying Willow, so he kept it hidden from her. In the beginning, he still felt guilty, but as the happiness he gained from his affair grew, the happiness outweighed the guilt, and he chose the other woman. When all his lies fell apart, they had an ugly fight. They insulted and fought against each other so badly that their home no longer felt like one. In the end, they even swore that they would have nothing to do with each other anymore. They got a divorce last month. As the villainess of the story, my mother was insanely obsessive.

Opening the Door

Opening the Door

he asked as he turned to her. “I’m not sure. I thought it was cool, but it would never really have a big purpose here. There is another smaller one in the basement that is supposed to be a wine cellar but has a safe room of sorts that is concealed.” Haven said with a shoulder shrug. “The best part of it is it is not on any of the floor plans for the house either. So if they pulled the plans beforehand to see where you could hideout. This won’t show up on them.”
