Faced with a stack of invitations, the director, Christine Weldon, looked at Ivy with conflict in her gaze.
She knew parts of Ivy's past. She also knew how much Ivy resisted returning to her home country.
After some consideration, Christine decided not let Ivy partake in the tour.
