VIOLET

VIOLET

“I don't have to. He's really ugly. If they're not blind, they should know that, it's pretty obvious.” “He's related to your future husband, you shouldn't talk about him like that.” The blonde cut in. Emily stood up immediately and turned to face the blonde, “You just struck a nerve Olivia, even if I'm going to get married to a disgusting old man who's disabled and can barely wash his own butt, don't I have the right to insult him and his disgusting helper?!” So the blonde's name was Olivia.. Violet immediately grew a dislike towards her. Olivia rolled her eyes, “If you can be nice to the old man like you're nice to Zoe Firdaus who you just met, maybe you wouldn't suffer too much.”

Pleasure & Confusion

Pleasure & Confusion

My night to wine and dine my mate and spend some quality time getting to know the beautiful woman the wolf gods gave to me. Dressed in some comfy jeans and my favourite midnight blue v neck t-shirt, paired with a pair of blue converse, I was ready. As I stepped out of my room, fiddling with my hair, trying to make it stay up in that bed head tousled look, I saw Virginia exit her bedroom- beautiful as always. Her hips with hugged tightly by a pair of skinny fit red jeans, a white v neck t-shirt but with an unusual design of splattered fabric paint across it as well as her pink converse, also splattered. It suited her. Everything suited Virginia. It always does; her hair down, long and seeming

A night with the cold billionaire

A night with the cold billionaire

Virginia peered intently at me, with her eyes widened in shock. With black kinky hair tied in a neat bun, heart-shaped lips, and almond green eyes; Virginia was a bubbly personality. I quickly changed into something nice and was ready to go pop!! Some minutes later, we were at St Johns Top Plaza, seated close to the VIP section. It was a clubhouse popularly visited by company owners, and mafia bosses. I wonder where Virginia got the money to reserve a spot for us here.

Scarlett

Scarlett

Scarlett I woke up with a terrible headache. I must have overdone it. I got too cold and nervous that I drank too much. The communication between Lucian and Maxwell was disturbing. I did not like being in the dark, especially about things that concerned me. I went to the bathroom to freshen up and made sure I hurried up. Then decided to clean up the rooms even though it was no longer my job. Idleness was killing me sitting down, so I kept myself busy. Besides, I noticed their staff never entered their rooms, and I was sure it was for a good reason. Once I was done cleaning the place up, I decided to take a book from their shelf. I looked for books that seemed happy and void of romance. I did

This was a great book, rich in detail and with complex characters. It’s the second book I read from this author, the first being “Unwanted”, which had no ending. This book also has no ending. I’m really disappointed to have wasted so much money on books that appear to have been abandoned.

Violet.

Violet.

I sat her in the crib with one of the blankets, covering her, and sat the others on my bed, she can choose her favourite when she wakes up, I left the room and went to my office, deciding to end any waiting matters for now. "Holden, keep an eye on Violet" I order getting busy with the unwanted paperwork, but I still have to do it. I started to work for a few hours before Holden informed me she was awake, I closed my office door behind me and moved to my room. She was awake and crying, I picked her up in my arms bouncing her around trying to get her to calm down, would she remember who I'm now or would I have to introduce myself all over again. She was cuddling against my neck, her breathing

Frequently Asked Questions

Virginia Woolf’s novels aren’t really a 'best of' list to me—they’re more like experiences you have to be in a certain headspace for. I struggled with 'The Waves' on my first try; it felt like wading through molasses. Then I picked it up years later after a quiet, aimless day and it clicked—the flow of consciousness between the characters felt less like reading and more like overhearing a dream. That’s the thing with Woolf, her best work is subjective to your moment.

If I had to point someone, 'Mrs Dalloway' is probably the gateway. It’s got a clearer through-line with Clarissa’s party and Septimus’s story weaving through London, but it still demands you pay attention to the internal shifts. 'To the Lighthouse' is the one I revisit most, especially the 'Time Passes' section. The way the house decays around the absent family hits harder as I get older. I don’t think 'Orlando' gets enough credit for being so playful and weird—it’s a historical fantasy romp that’s secretly about identity and art, and it’s a lot more fun than people assume.
