Viridian Forest Map Novels & Stories

“If we go directly north, we pass through the Greyveld territories. That’s contested. Kurnich has allies there.” “So we go around,” Archer said. “Around is another three weeks on foot,” Eli said. “Through terrain that is not exactly forgiving.” Silence. The fire crackled. Ariadne shifted North to her other hip and stepped closer. She studied the map for a moment, then pointed to a route that cut northeast, up through dense forest markings and into the upper territories. “Through here,” she said. Nobody spoke for a beat. “Ariadne,” Eli said carefully. “That’s vampire territory.”

Lucian and his men kept looking for Violet on their horses. They searched the entire kingdom of Merrill, but still couldn't find her. Lucian stopped his horse, followed by his men in the deep forest. They were so exhausted they had not slept for almost three days. "Violet ... Where are you? Why can't I find you?" Lucian said in his mind desperately. Tears filled his eyes. His heart missed her so much and kept begging him to see her. "My king!" one of the chief guards suddenly said, making Lucian and the others turn their heads towards him. "I just remembered that there is a secret path in this forest that leads to the Vidonia kingdom. It is to the west of this forest."

I guess I was a bit lucky to meet Norman. As we marched down the road, I quickly noticed how beautiful the town of Viridian Falls is on its own rights. Everything was green: the trees, their trunks covered with moss, their branches hanging with a canopy of it, the ground covered with ferns. I sniffed, gathering a deep breath of the clean air filtered greenly through the leaves. This must be one of the few positive things that I’m going to be getting here in this town.

“Nothing serious, just an energy drain.” “Did you at least see something familiar or striking in the forest?” “Yes my Lord. Due to the abundant growth of one of the herbs I usually use, I am sure that it's Ash wood forest.” “Ash wood forest? Where is it on the map?” “It's the far east part of the forest around Black Pool pack.” “Do you know the exact place Amelia was?” “No, that herb is very abundant in almost all part of the forest.” “Alright, gather the men. We'll head there this night.”

~Valeria~ Mom spread this super old, yellowed map across the table, and moonlight from the window hit it just right to light up the "Moonlight Forest" marker. The paper looked like it might crumble if someone breathed on it wrong. Alerion leaned over the table immediately, getting so close to the map his nose almost touched it. He pointed at the edge with his finger. "I've got scouts here. If Valeria and I take this route, it's the safest option. No questions."

My eyes glowed, brighter, sharper, colder. “I am not your heir.” Violet bled into silver. Silver bled into violet again. “And I am not your prey.” My reflection shifted for a moment, not physically, but in presence. Regal. Predatory. Composed. I touched the cold glass. “I am my own.” Valentina’s study was lit by candlelight and the glow of a massive holographic map. Red circles marked wolf territories. Blue circles marked other shifter tribes. Black X’s marked those already extinguished.

“I’ve seen creepy forests before, but this one takes the prize. It’s like it’s waiting for us to mess up.” Vivienne’s lips quirked into a faint smirk as she adjusted her dagger. “The Blackwood isn’t going to give us a warm welcome, that’s for sure. Keep your guard up.” Crane studied the resonance map as they walked, his brow furrowed. The glowing mark that represented the fracture pulsed faintly, but its position seemed to shift subtly with every step. “The map’s readings are inconsistent,” he muttered. “The energy here is throwing everything off. It’s like the forest itself is interfering.”

This couldn't be real. The sight before me was absolutely breathtaking, pure magic. After weeks of feeling trapped in cramped, dull spaces, this ethereal forest with its purple trees and golden forest floor was exactly what I needed. My eyes drank it all in. But I quickly shook myself. "Don't get distracted, Nyra Virellion." I knew the place was trying to pull me in and waste my time. The clue pointed to a very specific tree one with purple leaves and golden roots. For a moment I felt like I was losing it. Was this some kind of illusion? How was I supposed to find the real one and break free? I couldn't afford to wander around aimlessly; every second on my watch mattered.

The time came for Audrey's group to depart and head to Viridescent Valley. This time, they were no longer as green as they were before. Their past experience in their mission in the land of Dystopia gave them a better idea about what kind of dangers they could possibly meet outside of their schoolyard. The Viridescent Valley is one of the rare places that are not accessible through simple means like the teleportation portals. Those who wish to venture the place will have to travel it on foot, though not literally on foot. Basically, what it means is that Audrey and her friends have to painstakingly endure traveling back and forth to Viridescent Valley without relying on any teleportation por

Lord Valen gestured toward several warriors carrying large leather cases. “Maps of the old territories.” He opened one. The parchment showed the entire region surrounding the Sacred Forest. But the map did not resemble the land we knew. There were rivers that no longer existed, mountains that had changed shape, and several marked locations surrounding the forest. I studied them carefully. “What are these?” “Shelter points.” “For what?” “For the wolves who cannot withstand the awakening.” The Head Elder immediately leaned over the map. “These locations were created during the first opening.” Lord Valen nodded.
