Their rough trunks were wrapped by various thin or thick golden vines. There were also numerous shrubs, each having different leaf colours. A few of them were known but the majority he couldn't identify. Hence, he had to be careful since the possibility of poisonous or lethal shrubs being amongst the plants was high.

After the forest, we will find the house that contains the portal.” Vanilla couldn't pinpoint what it was but there was something strange with Conor, she found it hard to believe his word. The forest that would lead to the valley was right before them but it looked way eerie than anything she had seen, moving shadows, complete darkness, chills. “I don't think we should pass there.” “This is the fastest route.”

I noticed the rough area where I knew Crimson Forest was, and a significant space around, was marked as national park, with no settlements shown within it.

Orion kissed my temple; he knew my feelings, and I'm sure they not so subtly crashed through the mate bond like a wrecking ball. "The fastest way back to Red Spruce is to follow the path until you pass the lake, then head west, and you'll find their territory," Avi spoke as we closed in on the border.

Then as the group continued to converse, the door suddenly opened, revealing a middle-aged man. "Fernando," Helen was the first to acknowledge his arrival. "any news?" Helen immediately asked, all attention are now on Fernando, hope is intense in the air. But Fernando along with his troupe have found nothing in their search. Fernando sighed and shook his head.

She guides us telling us to watch our step and then says, “Look!” She proudly holds out her arms and we look at the ground. It’s a map. Charlie says, “What’s it supposed to be, Vi?” She smiles, “It’s a map to show the Black Night Pack’s blueprint.” She points at different spots and says, “There are secret passageways that Xavier doesn’t know about. Apparently, no one knows of them. Only us.”
