Novel & Cerita Visible Neck Veins

I hiss and he increased the pressure on my arm and smirked. I tried pulling my arm away but it didn't work. The veins in my neck were tightening and I gritted my teeth and growled loudly in frustration. My arm started throbbing and it felt as if the circulation had cut off. I gritted my teeth, and my brain was desperately trying to figure out a quick and likely successful way to free myself.

Chapter-50 RUBY "How long will you keep doing this?" Vexon asked when I was looking in the mirror repeatedly. I glared at him and he chuckled. "Looking in the mirror continuously won't make your hickeys go invisible." I rolled my eyes at his comment and let out, "Still! How am I going to hide it? I don't wear high neck tops, and it cannot be hidden with my hair. I cannot believe this!" I looked at the mirror once again. Red spots were visible all over my neck. "It is all your fault."

That sounds like too much time and I'm sure Riley isn't completely defenseless. Squinting my eyes, I make a scan of her back before my eyes catch something from her neck. Moving over, I flick her hair to the side and just there are black lines that take up the shape of her vein. Instead of a nasty bite and spreading black, all I see is a small needle-like object stuck in her neck and something attached to it. But the surrounding area has black spread out like spider webs.

I diverted my eyes to his neck instantly and tied it around it with perfection. I was a sucker for a guy's neck. I knew it sounds weird but I'm telling you this, he had the most beautiful neck. His neck was naturally protruding with veins, not too much, just the right amount to make it look gorgeous. It looked so strong and masculine. I could see three beauty spots on his neck, and his, Adam's apple was well defined. God! I sounded like a pervert.

And underneath it, the smallest tremor of hope. She knew he was close. When his vision cleared, he took another step forward. Then another. A few yards ahead, just past the gate, the ground sloped down into the first convergence valley—one of three known regions where the Vein was visible to the naked eye. Wisps of light traced the dirt like glowing roots, thickening the further in you walked. He’d only heard stories. Now he was walking inside one.

I pull as hard as I can to release myself, it fails. Jack's head begins shaking, along with the rest of his body. Oh, my goodness. I scream his name over and over again. Veins pop out of his skin. His face turns red. The violent jerking continues. Then suddenly, without warning, it all stops. The veins reside back into his flesh, his face turns back into the tan color I love.

Suddenly, a strange, burning sensation flared right in the center of my chest. It wasn’t the pain of the void, and it wasn’t the physical echo of his injuries. The permanent claim-mark on my neck began to pulse, but it didn’t glow with gold or silver light. It began to bleed a thick, glowing violet liquid—the exact color of theNull-Serum.

When I turned away, I looked up at Elijah, who was looking at me with great concern . "Is everything okay?" I asked, my brows drawn. He wasn't looking into my eyes, or even at my lips. But on my skin. "Ky…" he whispered, and reached for my hand, "your.. Your arms." I looked down and had to bite back a scream. "What the hell?" I muttered as I stared at my arm. Black thin veins, webbed across my skin like cracks of ink. They ran up my forearms, curling over the back of my hands, disappearing under my sleeves and reappearing at my collarbone.

Nicole hesitated, then nodded and slipped out. I stood on shaky legs and walked to the mirror. What I saw made my hands tremble more. My wrist curled into a fist. A black vein. It was thin as a spider's thread and crept up from my collarbone toward my neck. What is that? I touched it, expecting heat, but it was cold. I didn't know what it was. I couldn't understand it. But fear crawled up my spine as I stared. I need to hide this. This is too strange.

Veronica had a plan. "I know how to tell them apart," she said. "The hosts develop a dark, web-like pattern of filaments under their skin. It's usually most visible on the neck and chest." "The problem," she continued, "is that the marks are always hidden by their uniforms. We need a way to make them show some skin." An idea sparked in my mind. I quickly wrote it down on my notepad and handed it to her. She read it and a grim, satisfied smile spread across her face. "Good idea."
