Novel & Cerita Visible Neck Veins

My eyes went from his fiery red eyes to his alluring lips and all the way to his neck as my eyes zeroed into his veins just calling out to me . I was busy looking at his neck just longing to take a bite when his answer suddenly shook me to my very core . "You …"

Nevan was standing. He was always standing now, as if sitting would mean admitting the Icarus Strain had won. He was leaning against the glass, his forehead pressed against the cold silica. The black web of veins on his neck had thickened, pulsing with a sickly violet rhythm. He looked like a man made of shadow and necrotic fire. When the airlock hissed open and I stepped onto the deck with Julian, Nevan didn't move at first. He heard my footsteps, but his eyes were fixed on the floor.

I stepped up to the mirror, turning on the cold water faucet to splash some water onto my face. I lifted my head, looking at my reflection in the glass. My breathing completely stopped. There, sitting right on the left side of my neck, was a dark, purple-red hickey.

H-O-L-Y S-H-I-T I visibly cringed when I looked at my reflection. My hazel green eyes were red-rimmed and my nose was a bright shade of pink like I was suffering some flu. My chestnut brown hair was tangled and knotted near the ends and my neck was the worst case scenario ever. Dark purple bruises adorned the ivory shade of my neck and there were some identical marks on my hipbone and the apex of my thighs. There were also a few bite marks around my breasts but my neck was the worst sight by far.

I was sure of it. I had lots of questions, but with the way he kept acting oblivious, I wasn't sure if I should ask. I realized I'd been holding eye contact with him for an uncomfortable amount of time and awkwardly turned away. My gaze shifted to Xlynor. He was leaned back, eyes fixed on the arena and his expression closed and unreadable. My eyes accidentally drifted down to his hand on the armrest, and then I saw it. Black veins visible through his skin, running along his fingers and stretching up into his arm like roots.

I’ve never seen him shirtless till this moment. The olive skin of him shined under the lights of room, my eyes followed the veins in his hands which travelled to his neck and disappeared in the pit of his neck making my eyes drop and widen on the picture of his sculptures and well built chest and abs. 1,2,3,4,5,6 and i kept counting until my eyes landed on the V lines veins and then…. shit. Fuck ! my eyes snapped back to his and found me already looking at me with his signature smirk.

I rip my shirt open and I see water rolling down my body as if it's a hot summer's day. Something catches my eye. My veins start turning black , and like almost black blood begins to flow up to my arms. Standing up , I limp to the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror. The pain begins to double and triple - I hold onto the sink. The black blood or substance travels through every vein in my body, even the eye vein - turning the whites of my eyes black. I feel it flow as it leaves a trail of pain behind. My teeth begin to hurt and I begin to loose conciousness as the pain becomes unbearable.

She moved toward him and stopped short when she saw the network of black veins in his neck and sides where he had been stabbed. “The poison is making its way through his system.”

He looks up as I enter, his expression guarded but there’s something else beneath it now. Something unsettled. “You said this was urgent,” he says. “It is.” I don’t move further into the room immediately. I just… look at him. And the moment I do my breath catches. There, clear as daylight. Black veins. They spider out from his chest, branching across his skin beneath his shirt like cracks spreading through glass. They pulse faintly, alive with something dark, something wrong, radiating outward from his heart. For a second, I can’t move because this...

"You talk like you know what that feels like." Stan slowly walked over and sat down on the far end of the couch. The cushion dipped heavily under his weight. Up close, under the sharp light of her desk lamp, Vivian could see the dark circles etched beneath his eyes, the faint white scars running along his collarbone, and something else—something that made her pulse stutter. The veins along his neck were pulsing with a strange, faint violet light. It flared under his skin, rhythmic and unnatural, like a dying star trapped inside his veins.
