Novel & Cerita Visible Neck Veins

A surreal glow from below grabbed her attention and upon glancing down, the fascinating scenery put her in awe. Blue veins stretched from her toes and into the floor, branching out into other veins that spread out across the whole floor and walls, going beyond the still curtains. The same situation occurred with Bjorn’s feet and as the snaky blue veins dotted the ceiling like the branches of a tree, the small platform in front of Mel glowed a soft ashen colour, shifting the shimmering blue to a light grey.

"How... are you?" "I am... adjusting," he said, the word a vast understatement. A shadow of profound disorientation flickered in his eyes. His right hand, as if with a mind of its own, drifted to his left arm. My attention snagged there, and the air seemed to grow colder. Against the pale canvas of his skin, sickly, orange-gold veins crawled and writhed with a faint glow. They were not flat marks, but a living tracery, like lightning trapped and writhing beneath the surface, a parasite etched in light. They snaked up from his wrist, disappearing under the sleeve of his tunic. I shouldn't ask. It's cruel, a part of me thought. But another, fiercer part knew I had to. I can't help him if I'm b

“No. I used magic and my senses to track you.” “You said our marks look similar,” I redirected the conversation. “Mine doesn’t look anything like yours. Not even close. Mine’s all veiny and it looks like there are weird symbols forming in them. It glows, too.” “Yeah?” His eyes narrowed down to my arm, covered by the sleeve of my jacket. “Can I see it? The veiny look is normal, by the way. It passes, so don’t worry about that.” “I’m glad to hear that.” I pushed back my hair to reveal my neck. “Mine almost takes up my entire neck.”

Jade’s voice cuts off. When she doesn’t say anything I turned back to look at her but my gaze locks on Nyx first. Veins have popped out all over her face, her neck, and her body. The veins visibly pump blood and when I look back at her face, her white eyes have blood seeping out. It drips and leaves a trail of blood on it’s way down her cheeks. Goddess.

"I don't think she wants the pain taken, but there is more to it than that. There seems to be a conflict in her mind, hindering the connections." "Vera, take a look," Adrian, the assistant healer in charge, who stood at the edge of the bed, near her head, said, and we rushed to look at what he called us for, and what we saw shocked us. Green veins were starting to crawl all over her back in different patterns. The veins seemed to be alive because I could feel a pulse in them as we stood there. Vera reached to touch it, and I quickly grabbed her hands. "I don't think you should."

"You are losing your mind..." Malakor stopped. He looked down at his own bare hands, which were beginning to tremble with fine, violent spastic twitches. Vespera looked closely at his neck. Her stomach dropped into a cold, sickening pit. Despite the massive, intoxicating extraction they had shared on this very rug hours ago, thin, faint traceries of black veins were already beginning to reappear at the base of his throat. They were fainter than before, but they were creeping back with alarming, unnatural speed.

No matter what, he’s the last person I’m meant to consider attractive. I grabbed his arm to cover it up with the blanket but I paused abruptly noticing this weird color on the vein in his hand. I thought veins were usually green in color, why was his purple? Drawing my attention back to his face, I noticed how pale he was for real and I moved to the other side of the bed to check out his other arm, and the veins in his hand were purple as well. “Oh my God” I gasped, dropping his arm out of shock and covering my mouth. I moved close, reaching for his face and opening his eyes and the veins in his eyes were purple as well, and that was when I knew that things had just gotten a little too serio

Evil. I looked at Mira, and our eyes met in the mirror. Above her head, there was a dark mist that dissipated as soon as I saw it. Mira's face was pale, and there were veins at the corners of her eyes. Dark veins that resembled the dark mist I'd seen. The veins also faded as soon as I looked at them. I gasped. "Did you see that?" I asked Mira. My heart had sped up and was pounding softly. Mira looked confused. "See what?"

Blaze, gripped by impatience, groaned, "You talk too much. Just do it, Goddammit!" Responding to the exigency, Dexter elongated his fangs with a swift motion, ready to drink from Blaze's neck, but Blaze intervened, "Do you have to feed from my neck? Use my wrist instead." Dexter scoffed, "For someone who is at the brink of death, you are pretty audacious. The internal jugular veins, vital conduits for blood, run discreetly on both sides of the neck. They mirror the path of the carotid arteries, offering a direct route to the heart. If I release the serum into these veins, it would swiftly reach the heart and circulate throughout the body, expediting its effects.

Panic flashed in his eyes, pure, unfiltered panic. “What the hell… are you okay?” I knelt beside him, reaching out to help, but the moment my fingers brushed his skin, he jerked violently and vomited more blood. I pulled back, but my eyes stayed locked on his. Something was wrong. I looked down at my hand, still resting on his arm, and noticed the skin beneath my fingers. His veins were turning black, dark lines spreading out like cracks in glass. They kept moving, snaking up through his chest, his neck, his face, until they reached his eyes.
